I know it is not a big deal for some people, but it is a big deal to many that this is not working right. I've spent three hours trying to get my ME3 close to what my ME1 and ME2 while I could have been playing. This is a big deal to me and disappointment of this nature does not bode well for future business. BTW my Sheppard is not to far off the default, if it was I might feel a little more forgiving.

From what i see from LeandraNyx's screenshots it 'could' be fine if not for a few problems. The lighting in ME3 CC is ****, that could effect how we see the shape of the face differently. Some measure of difference was present in ME1->ME2 import, but on a positive direction, not like here. The main problem comes with the eyes. Waaay too light color and unfocused, like being dead or something. Make-up looks like its non-existent.

Thats one pretty way to derail the hype train. Hopefully we will get a quicker fix than the last mistake Deception does (or more precicly, doesnt get)

Gonna get my CE edition later this week due to being in Europe. Didnt think i will be glad for it, but i dont want to play this until this problem is fixed.

You'd kinda figure that a problem like this would be fixed before launch.  Did they even bother to test ME3 for bugs?

Honestly, just going by logic... shouldn't this have been one of the first bugs discovered?  This is is so embarrassing that I've gone past being angry and now I actually feel sorry for these guys.  Like seeing a guy with one arm trying to navigate a full shopping cart.  THAT kind of sorry.

I wanted Sean Connery, and they're forcing me to build Roger Moore from scratch.  Great...

From playing around in the demo, I'm wondering if there are any standard tweaks which should be applied to most Shepards imported via the face code method?

My observations are

Increase Cheek Gauntness
Increase Mouth Width
Decrease Mouth Lip Size
Maybe increase Cheek bones or Cheek width?
edit: (Shift skin tone a notch darker?  Might just be the lighting of the starting area)

(Not huge movements in any of these cases)

So far two Shepards came out fine in the transition to ME2 to ME3 in terms of looks. (Haven't tried ME1-ME2 to ME3 on Xbox 360 yet) Just checking out all the faces right now.

i am not worried about my face....what about the choices i made in me1 and 2....nothing is coming up when clearly i have a mass effect 2 importer file on my memory.

In the editor of the demo you can choose how wide the eyes are but not if the eyes are close to the nose or wider away. This is why I don't get the eyes right. Furthermore my lower eyelids have a blue sheen in the ME3 demo.
That's really disheartening, I wanna play the game with my Shepard.

So basically the CC is not improved from the demo version? That's extremely disappointing coz my Shepcode from ME2 turned out absolutely horrible.

It wouldn't have been a big problem from the start if they bothered sorting the face code of ME1 character imported in ME2... Building from scratch can take some time and all my canon Shep are ME1 character.
