Agreed. 6 classes, 6 Shepards, 3 Shep, 3 FemShep.  Attached to each and every one.

Yep! This is exactly what I did.  2 are mostly renegade, two are mostly paragon, and two are split even between. I also mixed the backgrounds differently for each one and romanced different people every time.  Makes the game like a new experience each time you play!

Exactly the same.  You obviously have been spying on me.

I will be bummed if I can't import my noob Shep when I get home tonight.

Currently, 50% of people say this face-importing fiasco is bad enough they don't want to play ME3. What do you think:

I called EA as mentioned earlier in the thread and was told straight up that there would be no fix and to just make a new face.  When I told them that was unacceptable and wanted a refund, they put me on hold for 10 minutes and then cut the phone call.

That's EA support for you

keep hitting them on twitter and other things, the more publicity this issue gets the greater the chance of getting it fixed.

"If we dont bring back Shepard the way (s)he was, the Lazarus Project will have failed" - Miranda Lawson.

Thats a positive work attitude. Somebody should take notes from their own creation...

..I'll stop trolling now.

Sounds like the person on the phone was just pissed at how many calls they were getting and decided to be an a-hole. The guy I talked to was nice and told me they were working on a patch, and to wait a while to see if it was fixed before importing my Shepards.

Dualshockers picked up the story.

Didn't really appreciate their attitude, though.

I'm hearing some people say that bioware may not care about this problem because the game is now released but if they don't make this right then I will never buy or play another game from bioware again. I can't play ME3 without my custom character so if they don't fix this then bioware can consider its products banned from my home. I am absolutely furious over this. Make this right or else...

I wonder if the writer has played any of the Mass Effect games? Probably thinks it's like a 1st person shooter where you hardly ever see the character's face.

I'm another "one of each glass, three of each gender" player, and I made them run the gamut from Boy Scout Paragon (Vanguard) to Psycho **** Renegade (Soldier). I also gave them varying levels of social skills too. And they each have a unique face that I'm accustomed to. I really don't want to lose that continuity.

It hasn't been released to our friends in the UK yet. I think they're going to fix it.

Again, this pretty much exactly describes what I've done.  And even if I could redesign the faces to be *similar*, they wouldn't be *the same*.  Like I said earlier, people can tell you "you look a lot like this actor/athlete/person-I-know," but you know you still look way different from them.

I've always had the same Shepard looks wise, I only changed some story choices in the different playthroughs.

Not to mention it's only been selling for one day: that's not nearly long enough to make back their production costs.  They could very likely see a huge drop in sales. If even 5% of people didn't buy the game because they were disappointed with it, that would be a loss in the MILLIONS. I think they have plenty of motivation to fix it!

I get that comparison ALL THE TIME.

Now then, how happy would y'all be of that in ME3?
