From what I remember, when the ME3 demo came out, you could Not import your actual Shepard into the demo.
Of, course, ppl wanted to get a look at their Shep. in game, so they used face codes. Sometimes the face codes worked okay. Sometimes they didn't.
The devs said something abt. the face codes themselves didn't always transfer correctly into the demo. The player really needs to import the actual Shepard into the actual game. Not pasting face codes.
As far as this guy and his tremendous luck at having 2 copies for him and his missus....maybe he's just a goof ball.
I expect Shep. may look a bit different. Like when I imported from Me1 to ME2 (make up was way too much). But nothing fundamental.
I think we have to wait and do it properly. By that I mean an actual import, and not face codes.
They had no problem w/ importing from ME1 to ME2. I don't see why now it would be a problem.
ME2 and 3 have an entirely different CC system then ME1 did (ME1 had facemorphs, ME2 and 3 use facecodes). What it seems to be is that only facecodes will transfer to ME3.
To me, this seems like they were focusing solely on pleasing their PS3 audience with this game, and focusing more on that than the other two. Since that's the only way this could happen, since if they had kept it PC/Xbox there's NO way they wouldn't work around this.
