The problem is my shepards code from ME2 makes her look weird in ME3. She's incredibly bland compared to ME2, the hair is no where near as pulled back. It just looks weird.

UGH. Me too. My female Shepard looks so weird in ME3. It's not my Shepard.

The demo doesn't have everything the full game will.

There is a day one patch for Mass Effect 3. I don't know whether it cures this problem, but I suspect it may well have been one up there on the list of things to fix, so it might do.

I hope you're right. Do you have a  source for that?

Hmph, I guess this is the only advantage of having a delayed release date for the UK - we get three extra days for a patch to be released.

I still have hope. Its very well possible the reason they're not responding is because there is a day one fix, and it would be redundant to comment.

But wouldn't it be easy for them to just say "Don't worry about it theres a day one patch."? Its the silence that worries me the most.

THe face is prob the most important part ... i don't like seeing a Shepherd do badass things if it isn't MY Shepherd. It just isn't fun without the face YOU want.

Even if the import wasn't compatible, the new hair options in Mass Effect 3 look good. I made a male and a female shepherd, the male looks like me, and the female looks ... like a lesbian according to my friends. lol

I don't think it'd hurt to make a new Shepherd?

If there is a day 1 fix, wouldn't it be easy to just say so and get it over with?

This thread is more about the OP making himself into an e-celeb on this board.

Please, let's not have that tone in here. PLC is looking after the interests of many fans who started with ME1, nothing more.

My largest 360 patch was 1GB. Took ages to download.

Holy space juice, now I'm curious. What game was that? =D

I really hope the day one patch fixes this. I was able to get a code for my ME1 Shep and I just tested it out in the ME3 demo................it......... Well lets just say that from afar he looks like my Shep, but up close I can tell something is very wrong.

His eyes are completely wrong and I noticed that they removed that squint-y/Clint Eastwood eye type from the game which is what I used for my Shep in ME1. It's passable I guess, not a deal breaker but it is annoying and very disappointing. I'm sure I'll get over it.....I'll see if I can post some pics after.

You shouldn't have to get over it though DJ, the import should be working correctly.

After five years I've become very attached to the way my Shepard looks. No matter how close I manage to get in ME3, I'm going to know that it isn't right.

I agree, I love the way my Shepard looks, infact I have used the same face for all my male Shepards.

Pretty much this,  I might be able to create something that looks like my Shepard but it won't feel like my Shepard.

ITS ALL PART OF THE REAPERS PLAN !!!!!!! No don't worry people, its just something wrong with the save. You will all be happily playing your loved Shepard, and be feeling really silly spending time freaking out about this.

I hope you are right, I really do.

Feeling silly is something I'd happily accept in order to keep my Shepard.

I don't have a source, only what I've been reading for the past 5 days. You even said so yourself that the devs said there was nothing to worry about.
BIOWARE would never do something like that, just imagine how stupid they would have to be ;)
There is a patch the day it comes out.
I was really freaked out but you must keep in mind that this is the main thing that makes mass effect different from other games.
I don't think we should worry about what some guy says. :)

Agreed.  It's the silence that's making a lot of us panic.

I agree that I shouldn't "have to" get over it but if this is the way it is then I'm gonna have to live with it no matter how stupid I think it is.  At that point the only hope is that the backlash causes them to fix it (assuming the day 1 patch isn't for this issue).  Either that or I just don't buy the game and although my Shep's continuity is extremely important to me, it isn't so important that I would miss playing the game.  I just find it odd that BW would put their fans in this position.
