When did everyone get the idea that you can't import your Shepard had to do with "new customers?" How would someone importing their Shepard's face hamper any new players' games? How would impeding repeat customers from importing their Shepard's face improve a new customer's experience?
Think about it, they're starting fresh and haven't experienced the other games with any type of Shepard, so now going into ME3 - everything is new, no worries about how their Shepard will look because... it's brand new to them. Now for us players playing since ME1 and not changing the way we our Shepard looks (for whatever reason, mine would be that I created the best one for myself and didn't need to change it), we're getting this supposed "bug" because we liked the way our ME1 Shep looks? Come on, that's a load of bull****. Did they not consider that fans do use custom Shepard, or was Bioware just thinking of their future fans and not their core ones? I understand that some are able to get their Shepard to work and it some cases,
look better, but I and a lot of others aren't able to, which is the main problem.
I wouldn't attack new fans either, it's always great to make a game appeal to larger audience because the Mass Effect universe is amazing, but there's been a lot of stuff in ME3 that seems to cater to new fans instead of their existing fans - Auto-Dialogue/ RPG/Action/Story mode (which I don't mind, just saying), the import issue, even MP (which I love). Also, the fact that we're not getting a response and the game comes out tomorrow at midnight...
