I don't know the internals of BioWare/EA QA, but unless you have inside knowledge, it is completely possible that QA found this issue and other groups (Say, Marketing) made the call that it was a low-priority bug or simply not a show-stopper.SLPr0 wrote...
BioWare's internal QA division is one of the better paying jobs in the US industry at this time, far as game software QA goes.
Though this kind of error does make you sort of think they must have been using a bunch of unpaid interns.
Just had to bring that up since I know QA often gets dumped on for things that get released even when it does find them but the dev/release team structure is such that they don't get to make the calls for what is critical.
