Angry Shepard is less angry now, apparently.
He will be when he sees this thread.

If I go in and tweak complexion and hair color and brow depth and all that he turns out about as close as you can if you ignore the fact that his hairstyle has been forcibly changed to a marine flat top from a navy flat top, but I guess that would only really matter to me since I'm a vet.

Wow that ME3 Shepard looks really tired. (Yeah looks like he bleached/dyed his hair and got a job done his lips and eyes from ME2)SLPr0 wrote...

Just want to again say this solution:

...works very well. Many people (including myself) have gotten good results. It sounds more complicated than it really is. Don't let it scare you off.
Yeah that might work for me if I actually played games on consoles and all that.
Um...the above solution works for PC. Just skip steps 1-4.
Skipped steps 1 - 4 did as instructed and...
Angry Shepard from 2 years ago:
Angry Shepard according to the generated facecode using the steps in the provided thread.
You didn't adjust the parameters that are set to default 1. (Hair/beard/nose/etc) They are noted in the slider positions you get.

The instructions weren't that complex. I applaud the systems and to be frank that facial structure is at least right, though it got the brow depth completely wrong somehow.

I think the hairstyles are subtly different in ME3. Isn't Shepard a marine anyway?

Still can't have my Navy flat top back though regardless of what I do. So forced haircut, even though I bet that hair is still in the CookedPC resources.

ALLIANCE NAVY SPECIAL FORCES PLZ....gods.
And yeah he calls himself a Marine but they don't let Marines command starships. Seriously.

I shall leave my (Royal) Air Force-based prejudices aside and agree with that bit.

I'm confused, "Please note: We're not talking about taking a ME1 save into 3. The people was having problems importing their Shepards, who was created in Mass Effect 1 and imported into 2. " Can someone clarifiy this for me, how do you import your ME 1 save into ME 3 directly with skipping importing to ME2, how is that even possible?
Its not. So somethings confused here.
This is ME1 Shepards that were imported to ME2, played through, and then held onto for importing into ME3.

There's no other issues with importing ME2 saves/decisions etc?

So, just so I understand, unless a day one patch comes out I will have to recreate my Shepherd's face in ME3 as it is an imported face from ME1 to ME2?

The issue is just with the faces, decisions etc should carry through fine.

There was another thread earlier where someone reported that their save showed the status of Wrex as alive, though they'd killed him. When they checked the plot flags in Gibbeds on the ME2 save, it showed him as dead.
Not sure whats up there.

Ah that's ok.
I mean, it's a bit of a pain having to recreate the face but it's not the end of the world!

I believe the only problem is the face not the decisions and so forth.

not exactly a bug as it seems, but it also bugs me, I don't read those books and don't care about it
