Can't happen on the ps3, there's noe me1 for the ps3. So far it's a 360 problem.

I see. And, from what I understand the problem lies with characters created in ME1 with no facecode? That sucks. Hope I don't have the same problem for the PC.

Dude. Mass Effect is all about your Shepard. If the 3rd game forces you to remake the entire character from scratch, what's the point? The CC is easy to use, yes, but something like this shouldn't happen. I'm going to be really, REALLY mad, if this happens to me. Which is why I'm hoping that one of the devs will walk in here and say "That's weird, never heard of that glitch."

Okay, so how do we know if we might run into this issue? I am just tad bit confused and I am confused about the whole ME1 to ME2 no facecode thing. I tried pressing back but no face code seems to be popping up for my import Shep from ME1 to ME2. What exactly do I have to do and at what menu. I am just slightly confused here if I even have the problem to begin with.

I was under the impression that the Mass Effect Game series was to present an interactive, customizable, personalized story of one interactive, customizable, PERSONALIZED Commander Shepard.
Was that not the point of this RGP? was that not the main brief of this entire franchise?
I've heard plenty of fan-rage over little 'this and that's' but this is a critical failure of product requirement.

Why?

Thankfully there are ways and means to convert your ME1 face to 90% match an ME2 code, Its the part of the face surrounding the eyes that cant quite copy over just right, possibly due to scar, I dont know,

No one knows what the actual problem is, for all we know the person having the issue could be the only person who ever does.

However Mass Effect 2 sometimes gave inaccurate face codes to ME1 imports (they shouldn't have face codes at all). So we're theorizing that this may be the issue.

I wanted to adjust my Shepard's face for ME2, but the only way to do that was to start from the ground up and get it as close as I could (plus improvements, of course) so this won't affect him. My femShep adept that I'm taking through ME2 is a ME1 import. I hope this problem isn't as serious as it sounds.

Huh. All be two of my ME1 characters have a face code.

At least my canon Shepard is blank. A femshep I'm particularly fond of has a face code though. I can live with recreating most of my characters, but she will be damn hard to replicate if I cannot import her. =/

Who cares. I'm going to be making a completely different face because the changes are much larger than they were from ME1 to 2.

I came up with a face on the DEMO that looked like Gina Gershon, sure as hell couldn't do that before.

I hope they have better nose options for the asian based face. They have yet to get it right and from the demo, it looks bleak.

This is the only concern I have for ME3. I think we should all prepare for the worst. I think I'm going to try my best to recreate my original Shepard in the demo(copy cc code), so that when the time comes, I'll be prepared for the worst case scenario: incorrect face-importation. I don't want to spend an hour at midnight trying to make my original Shepard.....I'd rather be playing the game.

Face codes and import are two different mechanics, they don't have anything to do with one another.
