 This is total BS.

I can understand the auto-dialogue, the underwhelming intro, the controversial endings, etc.

BUT IMPORTING YOUR SHEPARD IS A BIG DEAL!

This is what ME is all about! Importing your character is one of the main features of Mass Effect, and now it doesn't work? Really?

I have tried to stay away from all the complaining, but this is unbelievable.

screwed. but i was able to recreate my shep in the demo and wrote down the face code.

Dear Xbox users, you are in luck!
Just follow these 8 easy steps* and you'll be ready in no time to save the galaxy with your directly imported ME1 Shepard!....

"1) Format a USB flash drive in your Xbox.
2) Start up ME2 and create a new game by importing your ME1 Shep.
3) Go through the intro and when you wake up in Lazarus Base, save your game on the flash drive (or move it there later).
3) Back to your PC, pop in the flash drive and download Modio.
4) Using Modio, open up the save game file on the flash drive and export the .xbsav file to your hard drive.
5) Go to the ME2 Save Editor, register, and upload your .xbsav file (.pcsav file if you're on PC).
6) Click on the My Saves Tab, then the Morph Head button, then export the YAML file.
7) Go to the Mass Effect Tools upload page (Female | Male), give your Shepard file a name and upload your YAML file there.
8) Go to the Mass Effect Tools code generation page (Female | Male), enter the name you entered in Step 7 and the site will give you a list of all character creation slider tick settings for the ME2 CC (far left = 1) as well as a face code for ME2/ME3."

My code from ME2 turns out all funky...plus my Shep's got purple eyes (not a feature from ME2 or ME3)

I hope they fix this...can't even touch the storyline right now because I'm waiting for my Shep!

Bloody great... my import. I'm really disappointed in this.

I want to play so bad but I don't want to have to make a new shep face all over again.. that's the whole point of importing besides the decisions!

i'm kinda ticked too. I mean, i purposely didn't buy the med bay upgrade so my renegade shep would not only have the face i chose, but still have the scars. POOF GONE! What is wrong with this? it's more than annoying.

So much for my Shep... The import character i get is NOTHING like my original. Only hair is the same and eye colour. Bio , i just dont get it. So many lines of code and THIS is what u decided to fk up ? After reading all the heated debates on " My Shep is better then urs " After ppl actually get attached , u decided to hit the most loyal party. The ones who played and imported from the very start. What are u planing to do ? Maybe release a new DLC for 10 more $ to get ME1 face codes to work ? Fking disgrace.

I have a feeling they won't respond until either they patch it or they'll simply never respond at all and hope everyone forgets about it. But this is something that no one will forget about, so let's just hope that patch is released soon.

*Edit too slow I guess. The patch is already out. D:
