I'll admit that when I first heard about multiplayer being added to Mass Effect 3 I was dissapointed.  However, now I think my feelings have changed and I am now genuinely excited about the idea of playing multiplayer.

On one hand we get to experience the story of Shepard in his epic quest to save the Galaxy from the Reapers and on the other hand we get to witness the battle from the eyes of a soldier.
This is a conflict on a galactic scale so I relish the thought of being in the feet of my very own Salarian infiltrator.

I like the class/race variety and I think this will keep me playing Mass Effect 3 at least until the next Mass Effect game comes out if ever.

Yes, I was very apprehensive about the MP, I can't get enough now.

When I first heard about the multiplayer I was very skeptical, to put it lightly. I am happy to say that I'm having fun with the muliplayer in the demo though, other than the unlock system.

I was very apprehensive, but even w/the limited amount of stuff there is in the demo I'm having a blast. They did a great job improving the combat. The MP wouldn't have worked with the combat system from ME2.

Multiplayer is great because:
1) It allows you to keep playing the game and have fun no matter how many times you have completed the singleplayer.
2) It's fun.
3) YOU CAN PLAY AS A KROGAN!

Multiplayer has great potential for evolution but should never be turned into PVP lest this forum devolve into the likes of the Bungie, Epic, and 343i forums. It is really good so far.

I wasn't disappointed in hearing about multiplayer, but I was skeptical about it. I always wanted to co-op ME2 and that's pretty much what we got so I'm happy about it. The thing is, saying "multiplayer" puts the thought of PvP into my head so that's what I was expecting.

I was really harsh on it when it was announced and while I wouldn't say I'm excited for it, I'll now admit that it is a fun distraction. I've been playing it almost non-stop for a week, but that's just to curb my anticipation for the single-player. I don't know how much I'll actually play it once I've got my hands on the main attraction.

It's called a console. I'm primarily a PC gamer myself, but you cannot reasonably expect no hacks in a game. They're just pervasive to the platform. The ability to mod a game is both the PC's greatest strength and greatest weakness, but you can't have it one way or the other.

I wasn't so much a skeptic or hater of the multiplayer, as just not really interested. I knew I would try it and probably have fun, but it just wasn't something I cared about.

Oh how that has changed...

I am pumped for the multiplayer, PUMPED! It's going to be great for variety and it will extend the lifespan of ME3 greatly for me.

I'll only rage out if the Single Player turns out really short. Multiplayer games tend to take big heaping handfuls away from the Single Player. Very few games have avoided that, so few, that I can't think of any beyond AC2:Brotherhood(?) (the last ones maps were tiny, so that one sucked).

This was always my concern. I can't say I was wrong about multi-player until I see what it does to single-player.

I wouldn't call myself I skeptic. I didn't think it would be bad, I just didn't care. The demo completely changed my opinion on that. The multiplayer is fantastic so far.

I had my doubts but i am very Happy with the MP.
The last MP i had played was Unreal Tournament -> the first one ;-) and i had fear that i was not able to catch up, but it turns out that is very easy to get in and it is much more fun that i thought i would have.
So yes i was a skepic, but now i enjoy it very much.
I still hope that the SP-Campaign did not suffer in development progress from the MP integration.
Can't wait to get the Full Game to play ;-)

Anyone who played UT99 online should dominate in this game. Even more if instagib.
hehehe.

I was one of those people that was none too happy with the idea of MP. I can say after my first match in the demo I did a complete 180. So yes, I am very excited. One more thing to add to the list of great aspects in my favorite gaming series.

It turn out to feel a lot more Mass Effect that I was expecting. Pleasantly surprised.

I wasn't an MP hater but I had my negative feelings. I though: OK, I'll give it a try but I didn't expect too much.

But hell, MP is really-really awesome. After my SP playthroughs I'll do MP a lot.

I thought it was interesting, but I really didn't think I'd get much into it.

I'm N7 120.

I'm going to have ISSUES deciding whether to play single or multiplayer first.

It is surprisingly fun. I have been having a lot of fun with the demo. Though I am looking forward to, among other things, more maps and some variety in enemies.

It would probably be a more interesting question to see if you can find anyone who likes the multiplayer who wasn't skeptical at first.

I was afraid they'd make up something that would affect the singleplayer, be it story or otherwise but they've pulled it of nicely. I'm loving multiplayer.

I AM KROGAN.
