Didn't get Awakening when it came out, and was thinking of maybe getting it while waiting for ME3 - looked up Dragon Age Origins / Official DLC under the "Games" menu on this site, and saw Awakening listed among the other DLC content - prized at $39.95

Have they just forgotten to update the price with the times, or do they REALLY think that people are going to pay what is nearly a full new game prize for an extention to a game that's three years old?

Looked up Awakening at a local game store's site, and they are selling it at a much more appropriate price of 9.40 €.

As a DLC it would be more convenient, I guess, but with that sort of a difference between the DLC and the physical copy only an idiot, or someone too wealthy to care about money would buy at the Bioware store.

Now that I think of it, maybe I'll skip on Awakening for now - it's so close to ME3 release date anyway. :wizard:

Both the full game and the Awakening expansion are $19.99 each on Origin which is pretty redockulous.
I pre-ordered Kingdoms of Alamur which i later found out was $20.00 cheaper on steam.
No more EA online purchases for me.
