Capeo, like I said in the other thread, any sufficiently thought-out fake spoiler would align with the script, because something that significantly contradicted the leaked script would be widely recognized as fake.

Doesn't mean this one isn't legit, just that if someone was to put some effort into faking spoilers to cause a stir, it would pretty much look exactly like this.

Your point?  Do you know what out of context means?  He saying they ARE spoilers.  They are true.  But in context they may seem more palatable.

He also stated they're continually editing and changing it.  So taking the one leak at it's word, without any context or accuracy, is quite frankly retarded.

I HATED HATED the ending on DA2. Yeah turn everyone against the player. Great idea! Now i have no intention of replaying it.

This looks very similiar .Screw what you did in the game this is what happens.

JRPGs have been doing this for years it's not frickin' rocket science.

The more effort the player puts into playing , the better the ending they get. (only applies to games with multi endings of course).

If I'm going to spend hours on that crappy looking 8bit scanning game I want it to mean something.

Stage 1: Denial
Denial is usually only a temporary defense for the individual. This feeling is generally replaced with heightened awareness of possessions and individuals that will be left behind after death.

A picture of a copy of the game isn't what I want.  Show me a screenshot of the gameplay.  Of these "endings".

A picture of a box doesn't prove anything beyond physical owenrship.

True, I dont think the endings stated in the leak, are bad but i will need more evidence to support it. and i see evidence in the post of that guy for trolling

Honestly, I don't see why people go out of there way to spoil themselves, and then complain about it without even seeing the "Endings" ingame and what justifies them.

It's honestly just self-destructing yourself.

Not really I was already at the point of not caring anyway after the demo.

My problem with DA2 wasn't whether some characters agreed or disagreed with me but in the way it had you choose sides between Templar and Mage.  I found myself wishing for a 3rd option or the Eric Cartman "Screw you guys I'm going home" option as I liked to call it.  The Templars (with the exception of a few individuals) came across as religious zealots (something I loath given the results in real life current events) and the mages, though victims generally speaking too often and easily became blood mages or abominations as a "easy out" (again, with a few exceptions).  In every playthrough I sided with the mages if only because a) I was a mage, or B) I was defending my sister.  Back on topic, there seems to be a lot of concern that the ending will be "bittersweet' no matter how "correctly" or "perfectly" you play the game thus taking away the perception of choice which BW games are famous for.  What's teh point of having choices in a game if teh outcome is teh same or exceptionally similar.... all that based on rumors alone of course.  I'll reserve final judgement until I play for myself

Since when is asking for actual evidence a form of denial.  People are making claims and then NOT backing it up.

Does anyone know how to form persuasive arguments these days?

FWIW I'd actually be ok with those endings, apart from a few minor criticisms from a design perspective (seems to lack a bit of variety, but I still kinda like the concept).

I'm just a bit skeptical of alleged first-hand accounts on the internet.  Like I said before, if someone really did want to cause a brouhaha and disseminate false information, and actually put some effort into it, it would look a great deal like this does.

What was in the leak is pretty much what we will get. You can be skeptical if you wish, doesnt change reality.

Show screenshots of the actual game.  If you're going to spoil stuff, go all the damn way.

I don't get it...Bioware said the leak was "outdated" and "not reflective of the final product" and suddenly every word in it is 100% factual?

That does not logically follow at ALL.

They lied. Wasnt the first time.

Heres the picture: http://s14.postimage...knoap/photo.jpg

He found 2 space copys.

He's saying you have a high standard of proof.

That being said, you're right that the tangible evidence in this case is a bit lacking.  Partly the problem is that the internet makes fabrication easy, and part of the problem is that this is the kind of scenario where we would expect tangible evidence.

Look on the bright side.

It can't possibly be worse than what was spoiled.

So win win.

Once again, demanding evidence to back up claims beyond hearsay isn't "denial"

I'll state it right here and now:

If these do turn out to be the real endings.  If these spoilers are indeed the finished product, then I'll admit I was wrong.

But ONLY when it's been proven beyond all doubt.

Only way that's happening is with some goddamn evidence.  Rational, logical people don't swallow arguments based solely on words.  You need facts and evidence to back up your claims.

Show me videos of the endings.  Show me pictures of the moments in the game that match up with the leak.

But don't tell me it's true and say "Because I said so."

Edit: Also, making videos shouldn't be an issue.  If people are so willing to violate release date by spoiling the game, go the whole nine-yards.  Make videos of your playthroughs, include commentary.  Don't do this half-assed "I'll tell you guys what happened".  SHOW US.

That's right, like any good writer: SHOW, DON'T TELL.

It's tragic and disappointing that almost everyone around here isn't holding to that same standard.  A video would be the easiest way to prove once and for all.  And since this is the internet, even if it got taken down there are many ways to distribute it.

The fact that not a SINGLE person "leaking" the game will provide anything beyond words speaks more than anything they've had to say about the game.

How is there anything wrong with asking for actual solid proof?

Shouldn't someone like you being agreeing with me that we need hard evidence?

Only copies of the game (Space Edition) are console copies.  And as of yet there's been no PC leak on any other sites.
