I dread it to be honest.

There is a 50 chance that everything I have deducted my way into presuming about ME3 will proven false and that the game will actually be precisely what I want. But then there is the other 50%.

Im not used to that margin of insecurity from a bioware game. To me Bio used to be the gold standard of storytelling. Now... Im not so sure.

I certainly can't wait for the single player and multiplayer.

yeah i remenber a lot of people were doing the EXACT same for Me2 before it came out and it turned out at least 90% of the people who took rumors and hersay too seriously felt like a big di*k once it released.

I remember a lot of people doing the exact same thing for DA2 and they were spot on. It was just so incredulous that you could only have 1 cave or 1 house in a AAA game no one believed it.

The multiplayer was better than I expected, but the SP Demo was extremely concerning, which reinforced my prior decision not to buy on release because of the DLC.

Now having said that, most of these people who say these things are just really concerned for a game franchise they hold close and dear to their hearts.(especially after DA2).

so true,playing JA2 1.15 and loving it,now theres a 2 month gameplay.

and UFO2-ET is coming soon.

I've been a little skeptical about JA:BIA after the meh reviews, but I loved the original game, so maybe I'll pick it up at some point. Playing Minecraft and Icewind Dale 2 here at the moment.

Nah, I hear C9 has an irrational hate for the menu screens. The colour blue triggers something apparently.

I'm not trying to bash people who are cancelling pre-orders and not buying the game anymore, but come on guys. You are going to buy this game at some point in your life after your tears are dried up. Once you're done whining, deep down, you're gonna buy ME3 and you know it. I've still got my CE pre-ordered and paid off, I'm ready for this trilogy to end with a bang. Who cares if you can't holster your gun? Who cares if day one DLC is $10? Wah, wah, wah, just suck it up and enjoy the damn game! I'm right there with you, OP. This shall be epic and I'm going to appreciate every bit of it. :D

I honestly haven't seen a single thing regarding ME3 that has made me less excited for the game - I'm more excited than ever.

Of course people are still looking forward to this game. The only people who aren't are the people who psyche themselves out of everything. The contrarians. The trolls. Almost every "issue" that's come up has proven to be a load of bunk in the end. The most hilarious is the complaining/mocking of Anderson's "zombie hands". What a joke. Some folks just live to complain.

The Prothean issue aside, hell yeah I'm looking forward to this game.

Here's a protip: ask anyone who says the demo has made them far less excited for the game what exactly about it upset them. You'll find, and I say this with the utmost politeness, that they're generally full of crap.

If the bad endings turn out to be true, nope. This will probably be the last Bioware game I'll buy if I can't at least get a decent ending where Shepard ends up with friends and LI in the end. Doesn't have to be perfect where everyone survives. But an ending where Shepard lives with her LI in the end that is the ending I want.

So I'm on the fence.

Nah. Maybe most will, but I won't - at least not until something is done about the issues I have a problem with. I had a brief period of "aaaarghdon'tgettofinishShepard'sstoryomfgbbq!", but I'm past that. There are so many other good games I want to play anyway and not nearly enough time for all of them. I'm sure I would've enjoyed ME3, but I'm just as sure I'll enjoy any of the other games on my "to play" list.

It's getting harder and harder to remain stoic and wait for it to come to steam.

I feel indoctrination whispering to me, luring me to give Origin another try and look past the small faults and just get the dam game.

Having had, many, many conversations with various people about the demo, your statement is completely untrue.

Honestly, my excitement has come down a great deal.

This was my most anticipated game for the past 2 years... but all the spoilers I've been hearing recently (including announcements made by Bioware itself) have been negative.

It's just been slowly chipping away at my enthusiasm, so I'm waiting for a price drop.  How big that price drop will be depends on the length of the game, and the endings.

It seems like only yesterday I was jumping/happy dancing around my room when I saw the Mass Effect 3 announcement trailer at the vgas.

I am still incredibly excited. Judge me if you wish, but I believe I can honestly say I have never looked forward to a game more than ME3. :wizard:
