Simpley question. Do you need internet connection at anypoint when playing or Installing DLC?
Any internet connection required for Ultimate Edition DLC?

It's on the second disc as I understand it, so I would answer 'no'. You do need a HDD though.

I have ultimate edition and all the "dlc" can be played without an internet connection.
However...
1) While some patches are included the witch hunt patch is not so you will encounter problems (including an inability to save at the end of witch hunt) unless you connect to the internet
2) the blood dragon armour/armor for Mass Effect 2 is a code requiring a download
3) if the "dlc" is installed the game can only played using an ultimate edition disc (original and collectors edition won't work)
(Note Fallout: New Vegas ultimate edition seems to employ an identical system)
