Hi, I have two different EA accounts, one which was set by me and the other which was set up automatically from my xbox. I didn't know about this second one for a long time as I thought I had logged in to the other one I had set up so I redeemed the code for the ME2 CE Collector armour on the one I had set up myself only to realise that my xbox live gamertag was linked to another account.
How can I unlink it from that account and onto my other one, or delete that account entirely, or merge the two? I contacted customer support the other day and although they guarrantee that they will respond within 24 hours, I was not contaced at all and after about 2 days the case had been deleted with no way for me to view it.
If anyone can help me with this problem I would be very grateful.

Only EA support can help you. There's nothing we can do about it as the dlc is now tied to a specific account.

So there's no way I can delete that account or remove my xbox live account from it?

The problem is you have two EA accounts. As I understand it, since the change to Origin it is tremendously difficult to add a Gamertag to an EA account. Previously you could just add your Gamertag to an account and that will sidestep that problem.
You also have the problem of having auto log-in now associated with an EA account which the dlc is not on. I have yet to come across anyone coming up with a solution to that.
Deleting accounts is still the domain of EA support I believe as are account mergers. Fellow gamers can't do much for you on that front.
EDIT: another forum user, Nezzemancer, had an issue about adding Gamertags as well. Check their post here to see if that is of any help to you. Even if you can add your Gamertag to your proper EA account with the dlc you still need to get around the auto log-in.

Thanks, good to see it's not just me with a problem like this, as usual. Is there any specific category I should file the case under? In my last attempt my case was closed after about two days with absolutely no response from EA, I filed that under Mass Effect 2 > Account/Registry > Xbox 360

That I would have no idea I'm afraid. In one sense it's a more general account problem you have, although you want to sort out the allocation of the dlc.
As for your previous experience I would say that you got fobbed off. EA support can be hit and miss from what I've seen here on the boards.
