I haven't preordered yet, for one reason.
I'm a gaming convert. I started out as an xbox gamer, but turned to pc. My obvious choice for ME3 is pc - better graphics, runs smoother, better aiming, had a better experience in MP on pc etc.
But, I hate the idea of having to start again. I had ME1 and ME2 on the xbox, spent a fortune to get EVERYTHING from the store, I have all the purchaseble weapons, armour, missions etc.
So, my question is, is it possible to transfer my ME2 perfect 100% complete save I carried over from ME to my pc, so I can continue my epic story?
It doesn't matter how difficult or complicated it is, I rather do it than spend another fortune to have every single one of my choices back in play, instead of the default ones.
TLDR: Is there any way to get my xbox save from ME2 to my pc?
Need help. Fast.

There is also another couple options available, both of which might be easier for you.
1) Masseffectsaves (dot) com has a large variety of character saves, and categorizes them according to game (1 or 2), gender, alignment (including a "Mixed" category), and love interest. Each save listed has a relatively standard format for what decisions were made, as well as other general info like the level reached (almost always 50 or 60 for ME1, and 30 for ME2), class, background and psych profile, etc.
2) You use a save from the above mentioned site to import a 100% run of ME1 into ME2. As you can completely change the class and appearance at the start anyway (you'll still keep the skill points and paragon/renegade bonuses), you only need to be picky about the Background, Psych Profile, Gender, and Love Interest factors (unless you want a mixed alignment; that makes finding exactly what you want a LOT harder). Then you set the difficulty to "Casual" and blaze through the game, completing whatever quests and making whatever decisions you want.
That said, I don't think there's any way to transfer over "active" DLC contect; the save will obviously indicate that you played/finished the DLC's and made the related decisions, but it may not carry over some of the DLC weapons/armor. Maybe. Regardless, it's a small price to pay.
As I actually make the occasional Renegade choice, I chose option 2 after I lost all of my data. Took me some time (I did it twice in a row, one for each gender; both were 100% runs, including all DLC, except for a few irrelevant mini-side quests from exploration). It wasn't THAT time consuming (blazing through on Casual with the head-start bonuses of an ME1 import file is surprisingly fast), and it was even kind of fun.
Regardless, the PC versions of ME1/2 are MUCH better if your computer can run them well.

Another solution is to use a trainer and give you infinite ammo/health and rush through the game.
But yeah, masseffectsaves is a pretty cool site if you don't want to replay at all.

you use a USB thumb drive to copy your save from the xbox 360, open it with modio on your PC, and save it as a pc format save instead of xbox save.
