Vanguards are dumb

Infiltrators, would you be so kind as to not use your signature ability so much because it detracts from my enjoyement of the game? Thank you.

It is team oriented for a reason and all get the same XP and money so it is a moot point. If you want to feel like a big shot because you got more in game points then go right ahead if your ego needs that stroking. It sounds like you'd be someone most gamers would not want on their team.
Most of the time I can get way more kills than I do because to me it is meaningless like hunting down the last enemy or the last of the first wave or exposing yourself to too much risk and team failure. I get enough kills to be satisfied regardless of class I play. Most of the time I am second and then third rarely last or top. I am a good team player and all that matters is full extraction and team work and rezzing if you can.

You're welcome to add me if you want a team palyer that plays vanguards regardless of difficulty level. I have made it to full extraction on gold with me as a vanguard but you do need good temawork all-thorugh and an adept of some kind for best results also on team. My origin is same as here InvincibleHeroStardusk78 wrote...
On Gold Vanguards are rarely team players. They inevitably make a mistake and you can't keep up with them to revive them. I have really grown to dislike the Vanguard on MP, it is simply not a team player and that is why I do MP, to play with good players and team mates but it is possible to be the former without being the latter. Being both is the best combination. I used to play Vanguards in ME2 all the time and I know how the class works well and know it even on MP but that is not the point, the vast majority of Vanguards on Gold still charge off blithely into the enemy, they get killed and we run half way across the map to revive them. It is not only annoying but bad strategy. The other way to play a Vanguard could be like the Krogan Soldier on Gold, as a bodyguard that holds the line but keeps close to the team. The fact is I know some very good Vanguard players who agree with me on this, which only supports my point. Saying that you have to charge like a maniac at everything on Gold is like saying you have to run in and Krogan melee everything to death (which works on Silver) just because you CAN. Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you should.

Yes at bronze they swoop around, let them when you get to silver and the amount of vanguards dwindel as they find out that it is hard to play it right there.

Ever stop to think that vanguards are just playing to have fun as well? And we don't usually charge for the kill, we charge to
1- replenish our shields
2- get from a to b (to reach a teammate in trouble/get out of a hot zone/get to an ammo crate/get to an objective)
3- set up a kill
I've played both sides and don't give a damn if someone takes my kill while playing a vanguard, or a vanguard takes my kill while playing another class.
Like you said, it's about having fun. And getting the most kills =/= having fun
Besides, I've had more kills stolen from non-vanguards. They're just not as obvious.
^^ No need to say more.
I suggest you first try to play as vanguard then you start talking. I really wish to see you playing as one WITHOUT charging, I bet 50k credits you will not pass wave 1

Though given that's what it is, MINDLESS, I guess that's all can be expected.
Hopefully when the game hits retail, people will finally see the masses of Vanguards who actually know what they're doing & eyes will be opened to the fact that we're one of the most durable & pressuring classes going...& we're here to stay.

Turrets simply can not be beaten by simple charge+nova combo and once the engineers on the field your role should be last line of defence:
Did phantoms swarmed the group? You are needed because you're the only one that can kill a party of 3 phantoms at once,
Did the group cornered? You'll pave the way or agroo the heavy enemies(like atlas)
Is there a nemesis in annoyingly safe spot, you'll kill it,
I can play with a group which is lacking an asari adept but one that's lacking a vanguard? No...

Send them my way. I played a fantastic 6 or so matches with a really great vanguard. I was playing the Quarian enginner and turning everything into ice. Then it was open season on ice breaking vanguard style. They were getting 50 kills and I'd get the same in assists. Magic.

Agree. Played about 4 silver in a row as a human engineer only with another drell vanguard, we both knew what we were doing and was really fun. I didn't mind if he was jumping in the middle of the crowd as he didn't minded me and my drone watching his back.
P.S. Just seen the Quarian Infiltrator solo Gold video, now I wonder how long it will take for the "hate & nerf quarian infiltrator" whine to start.
PPL should stop whine and play more, it's just a game ffs and it's supose to be fun. If you can't find the fun in it, then you are doing it wrong.

Yeah, it's not even a competitive game, it's a team game.

On silver and bronze i care little for the team as long as there isn't any objective. However once you start playing gold you simply cannot go on like that.

Salarian Infiltrator - not Quarian. The Salarian Infiltrator is the strongest class available - for the two maps that are available right now.

Sorry vanguard players, but I can't apperciate your charge in bronze-level difficulty.
I see it more as annoyance than, "I bow down to your greatness because you just took out 3 enemies down that I was in the process of elimenating myself."
I'm playing to have fun, not to get a couple of shots in on an enemy just to have a vanguard charge in and "save the day." I haven't tried the harder difficulties yet, and I'm going to guess that vanguards do hold some value because of the more demanding team effort, but I'm finding myself exiting lobbies when I notice a high level vanguard.
Oh, and btw, no one make the argument that kills don't matter. If that were the case then vanguard's wouldn't be so agressive to charge into every enemy on the map.
True team mates watch eachother's backs not steal kills.
So watch his back as he charges.
I watch your back from the enemy lines and charge in saving your hide when I see trouble. It's not rocket science.
And kills DON'T matter. Getting the job done fast is a plus and Vanguard gets the job done fast.

I guess while we're making silly wishes, wish to see how useful an Asari Adept is that doesn't use Stasis. Maybe an Infiltrator as well who doesn't clock or have a sniper.

First," i "didn't say such a thing; as anyone with proper understanding could see that. "I" said "i" can't play without a vanguard in my team. Vanguards are real assets to team on gold because they're the most powerfull class in close combat.
So that's your lack of knowledge of the game and it's clear that you never played gold with a good vanguard.

Vanguarding requires less skill than most classes; I have beaten gold with a two man team, no Vanguard, just an Infiltrator and Engineer. The ME2 Vanguard required skill, the ME3 is just a button spammer.
