I hope Dragon Age 3 continues the Story of Hawke, and i hope they add a more.... in control feeling.

the game play in DA2  still feels  a little like chess, tho i'm glad the auto attack is turned off by default.

a more... up close gameplay type would be awesome (i.e. something similar to mass effect and or... fable esc camera angles.

the obvious Graphic upgrade that comes with all new games would be nice

DA3 Needs Mass Effect EPIC feeling!  DA2 just didn't feel epic like mass effect did!...  good story tho, not necessarily emotion provoking but  meh good game!  needs to provoke emotions in players (kinda like mass effect did.... for me and my friends at least)  lol Talk with Casey Hudson about how to do this :P

Character Carry over data!  i want to continue MY hawke, in DA3

More Traveling in DA3, take us to Tevintar, Fereldan, Orlae... Orlea?  That place (you know what i mean... if you've played the games)  take us to Rivain, and Par Vollan.

Lets see some Naval ships (and Battles) give hawke her own ship and crew, Kinda like the Normandy for shepard (Mass Effect)  see if you can get Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard) to voice the captain of your ship!!!

(a Qunari dreadnaught chasing after you and your ship, your ship gets destroyed, you think all but your companions are dead, BUT Captain picard is no softy!!!  he and most of the crew survived and claim a Qunari dreadnaught Birthed in a harbour!  Your new ship!!! .... "Make it so!")

Also need to check how the game uses RAM for any system, DA2 was Terrible for Misusing RAM on the PS3,(would chop and crash randomly, but more....relibly during the Qunari invasion) Skyrim had a similar issue on PS3 however a simple patch fixed that issue.

They've already said it'll be a new protagonist in da3, so no Hawke, sorry.

Well they are going to put more effort in DA3 I'd assume but I wouldn't expect anything of the size of DA:O again. But probably larger than DA2 and less recycling.

One of the few good news i've read about DA3. Hawke is/was such a boring character. Shame there's no continuation on the warden story though.

That's a damn shame. I liked Hawke.

I still hope they let me be "humorious" about subjects. That was awesome addition to the game.

Talk for yourself. Many of us here enjoyed playing as Hawke more than the Warden.

Well obviously i only represent myself. It would be quite arrogant of me to suggest i represent any other players. That is, until i perfect my mind control device im working on in my basement!

I apologize. I'm just pissed off that everyone here disses Dragon Age 2 and complain about the Warden not being in this game. They're two different games. It's like... Is it really hard for people to move on and go play something else already? *cries*

I just hope you play the spoilertastic child that may or may not be related to the Warden in DA3

Also, Warden > Hawke. Better, funnier dialogue choices.

Well don't get me wrong im not a fan of the direction BioWare went with Dragon Age 2 and i would have prefered to have the warden story contiued. But that is just my opinion and im not claiming it is opinion of a majority or minority of Dragon age 1 and 2 players. But i think the reason why so many on this board disses Dragon age 2 is just as you typed "They're two different games", and people really did not want two different games, but that's just my theory.

The thing is regarding you last sentence, "Is it really hard for people to move on and go play something else already?", is that people who liked/loved the first game, or the type of game, don't really have anything similair to play these days. But i fully respect people who liked/loved the kind of RPG the sequel was, it's just not my cup of tea.

P.S
English is not my native language so the grammar might be a bit of.

Playing as Warden and trying to be funny was pain as everyone always had "dissaproval" and in some point they would stop talking. I much pefered the rivaly system, it was a good compromise.

And again, I just like Hawke more with his troll.jpg smiles. But this is again IMO. Playing as Warden was fun too.

I really enjoyed playing Hawke - some of the line deliveries were hilarious.
My Warden was fun too but I am a fan of the voiced protagonist.
I am ok with not playing either again, although maybe a follow up on what's going with them would be nice.
I watched a video of the devs at a NY Comic thing and they showed that DA3 would be Orlais, Fereldan, Free Marches, Nevarra - didn't indicate Tevinter or the Anderfels. They also said it wouldn't be an open sandbox world, but definitely more stops than DA2.

@OP

NO.

No way is my dragon age turned into mass effect... I hated that game (though found some bits of it interesting, the whole remained cheesy and tiresome). EDIT: Though Mass Effect 2 has redeemed the series for me - starting from Archangel. ;)

Dragon Age Origins was the thing I and many other fans looked for in a Bioware game, you saying that "it still feels like chess" as a bad thing is awfully wrong for many a player.

Can I ask you if you've enjoyed the Bioware all-time classics, like Baldur's Gate. (I'm thinking you're too young and graphics-oriented, maybe?).

They could still work on DA2 expansions while working on DA3... Just saying. I loved Sarcastic Hawke so bad. I really want to know what happened when Kirkwall turned into a mess and everyone went on their separate ways. Plus I'm still waiting for a Starkhaven DLC. I also want to find a way to separate Justice and Anders. So many things left unsolved... And Flemeth... I want to see what she's up to.

Well, the Warden was a silent protaganist that allowed the player to customize and poor their own roleplaying or personality into the character.

So I guess you don't like yourself?

(just kidding) :wizard:

No. Not really. His/Her joke only applied to him. I play a video game first, RPGs for me are better on paper or written from my own perspective. Dragon Age Origins was okay for me because I had an illusion of what my character would be. Dragon Age II was correct for me also because I simply don't CARE about the RPG elements in video games. I played it for the companions and the adventure alone. I'd rather write my own story on paper than watch it on screen, if you see what I mean. For Dragon Age Origins, it gave me a good setting to write fun fanfics, but I simply can't immerse myself in this kind of game which decides what my character says and put emotions in his head while I have different thoughts. No. His/Her joke didn't apply to me. Too bad if he found it funny, I took it as an insult. That is that. Also, s/he was quite out of context, questioning my very own identity inside a video game converstion... Really? No. Unacceptable.

TL;DR: Don't put your words in my mouth.

Gentlemen!

You can't fight in here! This is the war room!

(Seriously, though, let's avoid getting confrontational. Hug it out.)

Yes and I didn't like it.

Also, since the moderator kindly asked, I'll stop.
