Exactly! It's the biggest twist of the game: the Reapers, realizing that they have no reason to destroy the galaxy, apologize and return to Dark Space! Everyone feels awkward, then they reveal all of that incest they were hiding.

Shepard doesn't get to see it, though, because he's a Reaper.

Then Wrex and Thane trained in a hyperbolic Time Chamber for one year -- came out as "ascended" -- battled against Harbinger -- Harbinger deceives Wrex in allowing him to absorb Tali to achieve "perfection" -- Harbinger defeats Wrex -- Thane barely escapes with his life with the help of Garrus and Shep -- Shep turns "super ascended", and after a long battle, eventually defeats Harbinger and Sovereign with a spirit bomb, using energy donated from all the races of the entire Milky Way!
