It was not a line from line scene from scene script...It was not even in order. I wasn't even the entire script.

I'm not trying to be mean, but try using some commas or periods. I'm having trouble deciphering what you're saying.

The scenes are written coherently, so I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I havent read the endings but, well after hearing this, you dind't expect to simply send the Reapers to oblivion did you? :wizard:

Considerig there is no "Reapers win" ending their words are sorta hollow. No I didn't expect or hope to win easy. I just hope we don't get some frankenstein shocker emo thing like in DA2 with Hawke's mom.

I guess all of shakespeare's tragedies are horible as well then.

Usually you go into a tragedy knowing it is a tragedy from the beginning

That's only with stories with well know plots. What of tragedies that permeir for the first time?  No one knows it's a tragedy then. Do you think people booed the first time they showed Hamlet because everyone died?

Some may have booed.

The play was his 4th
fourth most popular play during his lifetime.

Well that was a joke. Also I am sure some people didn't like that Hamlet died.

I know how to read a script, it's written as a standard script, there's no way to read it out of context unless you're skipping huge chunks. The issue people have with the fan service stuff is that it contradicts earlier choices, cannon lore, and/or its forced into the story to the point where it is illogical.

ugh we may have been looking at different "scripts" here but that thing most definetley did NOT read like a standard script, I wouldn't even call that a script it didn't even tell you which character was talking.

If you read at the beginning of each scene its very clear who's speaking and who isn't. Just like a novel or a draft of a script.

Shakespeares tragedies didn't have multiple choices, and you didn't work hard to achieve the "best" outcome

(I say "best" becuase in no way does that ending deserve any indication of being worth achieving)

The fact that it's an interactive piece is irrelivent. I rather have an impact full story then one that warps around feeble  unrealistic  out comes.

But then you need to read a good book or watch a good movie. The point of RPGs is that the player makes decisions that change the story.

But you do, iTjust that you don't have full freedom with the story.  It just gives you freedom to how you react to the evens not what the events are. You confusing role playing with writing your oun story around you character.

I stopped caring for Earth and Alliance when they grounded Shepard. I'd pick any of my squadmates over Earth or the Alliance.

Every line from Sovergn and the fact that one reaper can take on fleets is a clear sign thing arn't going to end well.

There is the possibility that the people with the space edition haven't found all the possible endings though, right? I just find it odd how they dug up so many endings that quick.[/quote]

If you play just the campaign... ME1(10 hours) ME2 (15-17) hours.

You do realize there is no possible way to attain the best ending by doing the fastest playthrough right?

I've been Paragon in two games. But at some point stupidity of people is just annoying. They basically keep you from saving the galaxy again and again. If they worked for the Reapers they could not have done a better job.

I saved the Destiny Ascension. There werent 10k dead. Claiming the Citadel was in ruins does not hold up with the small damage we see just to the Presidium in ME1. As far as you can see in ME1 most of the wards were relatively fine.

^ This. It was always a dark scfi. funny whipeing out the enitre race of the rachni, is ok, but screw with sheps team, and thats just, the worst thing that could ever happen. I would be more upset if there was a happy, mostly loss free win. Seriously, the reapers have been around as far as we know forever, compeltly whiping out every race prior. Countless times, honestly even winning in any way, at any cost, is a good ending, especially if we look at it, with a the needs of the many are greater then the needs of the few. of all that would be accomplished assuming the reapers, don't win, even at the greatest cost, outways that cost.

I'm reading it right now. Without the "video game speak" they included in between scenes, it is comprehensible.

Well the Alliance ships that were shot down had people on it. And I am sure alot of people died all the time. Ferros, Noveria, Virmire. If you're honestly trying to tell me that any ME game is a 'fairy tale' then I find it hard to take such opinion serious.

I already misread something; comprehensible doesn't automatically mean EVERYTHING is 100% sensible.
