I love it how people equate "tastes and opinions" to "maturity and intelligence"

My point remains....I would pay gladly for better endings

Without any spoilers, how disappointing is the "best" ending?

The whole script leaves something to be desired.

It's the exact same quality of writing we have had since ME1

since KoTor.

There are major inconsistencies to things established in prior chapters. Dialogue feels a bit rushed in the

beginning and there are a few spots where your decisions are overwritten in order to inject a forced peice of the story, in a very bad way. The writing for ME1 and ME2 wasn't like this.

Uh...yeah it was.

ME1 was full of forced decisions. Namely at the start of the game.

What choices that are integral to the plot are forced upon you in ME1?

Being friends with all of your squad

Automatically jumping on the reapers as real

Anderson automatically believing your every word

The council ALWAYS ignoring you with the most inane reasoning.

ME2

Having to "disagree" with TIM; there is no clear cut "support" option

Numerous others that I would have to list other reasonings for and are choice dependent.

To sum up, ME3 is the "best" of the series but still has some holes and not as strong wrting. It's a good finish to the series though.

Or we can just keep being 5 year old whiners.

Forced frienship? That's a bit much, Shepard only sounds like they're looking for an excuse to talk. The fact that they all like you? Ok, that's forced

Shepard believing the Reapers are real? If he didn't there would be no story, so that's kind of crucial.

Anderson and the council aren't you, so how can Shepard decide how they react?

There is a support option for TIM after the Collector Base, it's in ME3 that they become opposed to one another.

You claim the script is incoherent and incomplete yet it's the best written so far? Pick one, because you're not making sense, it can't be both.

If you think you're being a five year old, then maybe you should stop.

You asked for examples of bad writing I gave it to you.

Saving the base was not a "support cerberus" option.

How can you link something like that with a clear conscience, knowing Final Fantasy fans exist?

Good point, good point. But they are less abundant as of late.

No, someone that has a Space Edition described them in the spoilers group.

Well yes that's a great source.

A subjective leak from a possibly butthurt fan/super happy fan.

Well they sure aren't great. Maybe my opinion will change when I actually see it all play out.

Apparently they stuffed up something MAJORLY and didn't bother fixing it. There aren't even any files to fix it in the game folders... Like, I mean, a HUGE screw up in one (fairly popular) department in BW stories... I mean, like, they forgot about the other possibilities and didn't even bother to add them in/rectify it before shipping. Trust me on this, it's a pretty silly boo-boo to make.

Apart from that, it seems alright. People just get pissy about their ending they wanted in their minds not being the one they got.

Just to let everyone know.... the guy who posted in the spoiler group actually felt satisfied with his ending. I don't know how the **** how, but there ya go. Everyone else isn't happy, but those people only read descriptions.

So, it may not be as bad when we actually play it.

Actually, he confirmed what was posted on a different forum. Before that he was very straightforward in answering our questions (he didn't violate the NDA).

Exactly. To me, with EVERY game, I must go in with an open mind. It's really, really dumb not to.

Why the -beep- would I go into a movie sequel viewing, thinking, "Okay, this, this and this will happen and it'll be great"? JUST. WHY?!?! IDON'TEVENUMG

Don't put expectations on what is going to happen. Theories are fun but don't EXPECT them to actually happen.

Ffffuuuuu-

I'm hoping that the execution is great, but idk.

I'm still in the camp of, if those are the 'best' endings we're going to get. I'd rather the reapers win outright.

That's cool, but did you put high expectations on certain elements that are very popular in BW games? Apparently, that's what most people are whining about. Like, idek.

I know, but his view could be tainted either way.

It could be better/worse than it really is.

Execution is what Bioware is known for.

Text doesn't do them justice.

How quickly we forget that we fought a terminator reaper to conclude the last game, this isn't looking to be much of a better end.

I'm still going with my 'Space Editions are different from the retail editions and include only the worst endings to throw us off' theory.

Here's hoping I'm right, though I kinda doubt I am.
