since this is a co-op game, what is your dream team?
mine is-
Human Vanguard- love that novaspam and a good one can leap around the map flushing out enemies
Asari Adept- Stasis is just too powerful to say no to.
Salarian infiltrator- a widow and energy drain wipe the floor with shielded enemies (both physical and kinetic) and his stealth rez is needed (well almost) in case your vanguard gets overwhelmed
and last- the wild card. against cerb love to have a human engy, overload, his drone, and incenrate are all wonderful abilities. I expect against reapers/husks want to have more biotics, so another asari or human adept, and against geth I can imagine the quarian inf with sabotage is beautiful.

Asari Adept, Salarian Infiltrator and then in priority order, 2 of the following:
-Asari Adept
-Salarian Infiltrator
-Asari Vanguard
-Human Vanguard
-Quarian Infiltrator (if against synthetics)
-Human Engineer or Salarian Engineer (depending on how good Decoy is)
-Krogan Soldier
A single stasis bubble and a cloak/drain sniper are needed. Beyond that, its much less of an issue. 2 of each is probably best, but if not, I think the ranking is pretty much what I would go with to replace them.

-Quarian Infiltrator (if against synthetics)

Haven't played much gold, but on silver:
Asari Adept
Infiltrator - either will do
Turian Sentinel
Human Vanguard OR Krogan Soldier
The adept takes care of all CC needs and does big splash damage with warp bombs. The infiltrator is a damage dealer, quick rezzer, and all purpose objective hound. The Turian can do a lot of setup with overload, has good survivability, and can put a lot of rounds downrange, helping rack up kills/assists. And the vanguard or Krogan wreaks havoc, does the close-in dirty work, and has the speed/defense, respectively, to help out teammates in a jam very quickly.
I also like wacky parties. The other night, I was a Krogan soldier with three engineers--2 human, 1 Quarian. That was kind of awesome.
