I guess Miranda fans won't be too pleased!
But the Normandy looks much much better, really liking the new areas and darker theme.
Why? It's just a room.
Because a fictional game character taking another fictional game character is an IMPORTANT THING and it shows that BioWare HATE fans of the character.
Really laughed at that one.
Well...., i'm a Liara-fan soo... no problem with her new room at all, more blue... on the crew!

The thing is though, during that video can see on the opposing side to where the player enters, there is what looks like another corridor on that side too...so is that above the Mass Effect core or where exactly is it?
Edit: Also @Byne thanks for posting the link, further proving my point

Wait, so can you change the colors for the casual outfits too? Anyone confirm?
Can someone answer my question?
Nope, the customization and coloring is in a submenu from the armor.

War Room replaces all 3 - Mordin's lab, Jacob's armory and the Comm roomSir Ulrich Von Lichenstien wrote...
I'm really curious about the 'War Room', because when they enter it in the video, it looks to me like it has taken place of the old Comms room. But as mentioned in previous post, it just seems a bit too big to be replacing that unless the corridor which was between Mordin and Jacob's is now just a corridor around the lift, with the sides taking up some of the space the 2 previous squadmates rooms took up (which makes sense seeing as the Armor/Weapon upgrades thing now seems to be back in the Shuttle bay.
The thing is though, during that video can see on the opposing side to where the player enters, there is what looks like another corridor on that side too...so is that above the Mass Effect core or where exactly is it?

From my understading the Lab, Armory, and Comms room were all converted into the War room so it takes up the space of those three rooms. That is all

War room is a nice addition
Anyone else spot James Vega doing pull ups in the background during the shuttle bay part?

I'm liking the look of the new Normandy. Though the fish tank does seem out of place now hehe, I have more important things to do than feed my fish!

There is literally nothing more important than feeding your fish.
Nothing.

So wonder where what looks like corridor at back leads to? If you look at about the 1.33-1.35 mark you can see there is definitly another corridor (or maybe even another room) at the back.
The Mass Effect Core room took up all 3 floors, could see it through window in Mordin and Jacob's room on CIC floor, could see it from Thane's room on Crew floor and could walk into it on Engineering (just as can in the new layout).
If the entry the player came from is the old entry to the Comms room, then whatever is on the other side is cutting into the core

It isn't but as I stated in one of my earlier posts, as far as 'upgrades' goes that looks like its back down in Shuttle Bay as it was in ME, so that's Mordin/Jacobs room usefulness taken care of.
Also of note is that he mentions you can get 'a doctor' he didn't say Chakwas (even tho it looks like her in the video), so am assuming we can get another doctor if she died or maybe choose not to recruit her this time?
Edit: @Byne you could probably even do it in modern day... get fish feed in container above tank. Set some computer program to open feed hole and pour some in at regular times
