Well, one would assume we would still get a doctor if Chakwas died on the suicide mission. It'd be pointless to have a med bay otherwise

They noted that you can kick Allers of the ship if you want. I'd say that is a 'finer' detail

 After watching the 'G4TV' Palaven exclusive, I've worked out that the mini room at the back of the war room will be akin to Shepard talking to TIM in ME2 and the Council in the old meeting room in ME, as the scenes showing Hackett look like they take place in that area, still think it seems to be cutting into the mass effect core room a little bit though. but am not gonna pick it apart anymore.

Because it's the Alliance and they like things dim. Like a submarine! Remember ME1?

Anyway the war room looks friggin' sweet (reminds me of the stuff in the shadow broker ship) and the cargo bay looks cool too! I'm really excited!

they ship looks really hap hazard and half refitted, im guessing it left dry dock in a hurry and hadnt been fully refitted hence the wires etc everywhere. that or the ships state directly corelates to how much war assets you have as the drive core looks like it has breaches forming in it as light is pearing out from it.

What is with all those loose wires all over the place? Say what you want about Cerberus but at least they keep the Normandy purdy.

The Normandy is put back into action in the middle of its "repairs." The Alliance wanted to upgrade the SR2 (and take out those cerberus symbols) so they took it apart and were in the process of putting it back together.

You sure? I haven't heard or seen in the video that says it was combined.

It isn't but as I stated in one of my earlier posts, as far as 'upgrades' goes that looks like its back down in Shuttle Bay as it was in ME, so that's Mordin/Jacobs room usefulness taken care of.

People who got space edition confirmed that the med bay incorporates functions of Mordin's lab now. And yes, the armory takes care of weapon upgrades, but from what I understand, health/medi-gel etc upgrapes are performed in the lab/med bay.

Did anyone else notice that the gun color changed once it was on the bench for a second. Perhaps you can change the color of your guns? That would be a nice touch

you can quote "get a doctor" for the Med Bay. makes me think you might possibly be able to choose a reporter as well. For instance a certain woman who's last name I thought was "Wang" at first. (Emily Wong). Just a thought. It'd be cool if you could get Wong instead of Allers. But I do intend to give Allers a chance.
