I was just wondering if decisions made AFTER completing the main quest line will be carried over in the Mass Effect 2 saves, or just the decisions you make BEFORE completing the main quest line.
I'm asking because I beat the game, doing a lot of side quests. But then when I went back and looked I still had around 7 or 8 N7 missions left to complete. One of those missions required me to either choose to save an industrial complex, or a city.
I'm sure this in some way will make its way to Mass Effect 3. I was just wondering if I have to replay the entire game completing all side quests BEFORE I finish the main quest line, or is it okay that I completed them AFTER and they will still transfer over?

I'm pretty sure that all your decisions will carry over so long as you import a save after you made them. Example: using your most recent manual save after the suicide mission rather than the auto-save at the end of the main quest.
I don't know for sure though so be aware I could be mistaken.
Personally I completed most of the N7 missions and DLC after the suicide mission so it'd be rather wasteful for it not to carry. I just made sure to have a save set and ready where everything is completed and it is ready for import to me3
