(On a side note. Since you claim to love mass effect. How come you haven't already pre-ordered CE? If you do you'll get the DLC.)

What's next, are we going to say that one of the human shop owners on the Citadel is vital to taking back Earth just because he's human like Shepard?

Because we needed another one of these threads.
are you saying your life WASN'T enriched by the op expressing his views on what is certainly the most thought provoking decision made by bioware to date?
Inconceivable!

People who think about ethics and the direction an industry near and dear to their heart is going are not stupid. They are thinking about it and see something wrong. Obviously you haven't even thought about it. I have thought about it and see it as suspicious, but decided I will let it slide, especially since it does not affect me, but I can't sit by and watch a halfwit call a thinking man stupid. Crawl back in your hole, work hard, and let the sheppard hold your wallet, you sheep.Maggot Alchemist wrote...

I am not going to stand by and watch bioware do this to the consumer. The From Ashes DLC has a Squad Member that is vital to lore and to the story which is just Sickening, and the only way to get it free is by buying the collecter edition for 20 more bucks . I'm Ordering A Boycott on Mass Effect 3 and its hard on me because I love mass effect and want to see how it ends but i just cant do this because of my profession and of my beliefs. So this might not stop this bad business but hopfuly it's a start.
Great story. Compelling and rich.
