After playing quite a few games I've finally decided to give my rant:

If I am alive at the mission end, in the pick up zone, why have I failed?<_<

I do not understand how it can be considered a failure after doing hard work for 20-odd minutes: what is going on Bioware?

I can understand because one team mate died in the final round tht it is not a team success, yet at the same time, it was the team that got me to the end.

Additinally, what if in the last round one team member goes rogue, running off half way across the map getting himself killed - why am I penalised for his bad move?

In the very least you should give SOME XP for actually surviving until the end.

So you're saying that even though you survived and were successfully extracted, you still failed the mission? Sounds like a bug... or perhaps something to do with the host.

Hmm, don't know what you are talking about exactly, but I once had a partial extraction and the command proclaimed (Mission Failed, aborting) even though we had successfully completed the mission. We got all the XP and all the money, so I think it was just a little glitch on the announcer.

It's happened about four times in the past week for me.

Something tells me the PS3 version netcode is poor.

I'm on a 200mbps carrier so probably not me.

I haven't had any issues like that on the PC so far, if one player runs off and gets himself killed I just let him bleed out and take a partial extraction, no sense in risking myself so he can get himself killed again. Sounds like it's a bug with the PS3 version.

Today I even had a match where 3 of us were permadead and one guy was on the ground bleeding out in the extraction zone when the timer hit 0, and it still gave us a win.

It's definitely the netcode then. It's lagging itself - seems to be pinging the player every say 10 seconds, and calling that the current status: you die 8 seconds before game over, but the game still thinks it's 10 seconds prior when checking your status...?

It sometimes give you a bad 'mission failed.' It's a bug.
