Sweet Spots from most dependable to least:

-Widow shot to the face (goes through their shield, killing them instantly no matter what)
-Stasis, Pull (they drop their shields)
-Right foot, right knee and right hand (which are all easy to hit. I do this when I don't care about headshots... Guardian: "I thought I was safe behind my shield, until I took a gunshot to the knee...")
-Headshot(s) through visor with sniper rifle or any other scoped weapon. Harder to pull off from long ranges w/o scoped weapons but still viable. Depending on how good you are or equipment this can easily rank third best.
-Stun, then shoot.
-From behind.

Try not to waste time just using powers or meleeing the shields. If you can't pull off the top 4 ways of killing them use your time to get behind Guardians or go kill something else bothering team members who can kill them efficiently.

You forgot Armor-piercing rounds - everything becomes a sweetspot.

If you're an Enineer, cast a drone at them and they'll do an 180.

Shoot anywhere on the shield if you have a widow and they go down, at least thats been my experience.

stasis works great. i can line up a freaking slaughter house when it comes to the guardians

I see so many people running around with Widows these days I barely even bother stasising Guardians any more.
