What is so awesome? They are not into to men therfor the odds of a straight man finding a partner drops. As for the dirty movies they are just as bad as straight porn.

The bolded part is a mistake in reasoning. It is either incorrect or irrelevant depending on how you see it. Ill just say that women's consent is not needed to procreate. You may or may not disagree but realize that human behavior patters were established long before civilization did.

Wow dude, really?

First off, no amount of guy on guy can hide the crapfest that was DA2.

Secondly, It was put in to be fair. We had Liara going lebisn over femshep (And I guess Jack too?) so it's time for the boys to have thier romances. Fair is fair and there are no male Asari in the universe.

Could you imagine what one might look like though? It's be like Edward Cullen for women all over.

Hope they actually have a personality though.

BA BUM TSS!

LOL you probably werent around when DA2 was *about* to be released and the few weeks after it was. There were basically two groups:

1. The people who saw DA2 for what it was - a crap game rushed out by EA/BW to milk money via fan loyalty towards its far superior predecessor.

2. The people who simply loved every bit of it and could not be penetrated by logic. These people were largely the gays/lesbians, who only saw the game as a homosexual friendly dating sim.

Hmm the more I think about it, the more I think I agree. The only ones who really liked DA2 that I know of are gay. I'm more or less a lesbian but I didn't really like DA2. :?

Anyway, if I can have my Femshep x Tali then I'll be happy, if not.. meh.

As long as it's not forced on the player. I'm all for it. Secondly, romances should be incredible hard to achieve. Making it worth and realistic.

Now they just need to have more non-white characters and we'll be set.

I don't really care ( and I will probably even make a gay and lesb. Shep just to see)
but for the sake of putting it out there I don't understand why we even NEED M/M in a serious game like that. Sure there are a lot of gay and lesbian people out there, but as this thread proves it also comes with immaturity,bs,immaturity, and "A to B" mentality, watering down the main focus of the game.

Its like making something straight forward and thrilling like MMA gay and lesbian(women fight too), sure it already has "some" ****** erotic references to it, but why make it official and turn the whole fanbase into either:

A. Immature horny 15 year olds (applies for men of all ages, its a mental state)
B: Bros Jerk-jerkoffs who think ME3 will be a 3rd person version of MW3 + PORN (as bonus) in space.
C. I love my gay friends to death (I really do) but lets face it, thats what the game will be most known for.

Just look at this thread even, Sex obviously overshadows anything else, like in a Zoo. WHo ****ing cares if samara can hump a dog or if Shep gives blowjobs to Mordin, there shoudl have been a bigger focus on the PLOT.

Oh, because M/M relationships are incompatible with "serious" games?  *rolls eyes*

So if you don't care about relationships, where were you when ME1 and ME2 came out?  Where were your posts complaining about the relationships in those games taking away from the plot?  I haven't checked out your post history, but I'm betting myself you didn't complain about them.  So M/M relationships are included and all of a sudden, Bioware isn't focusing on the plot anymore?  M/M relationships = watered-down storyline but not when there are only straight or lesbian relationships?

Puh-freaking-lease.  *rolls eyes even more*

And just because some people can't handle M/M, Bioware should leave that out and only cater to the straight player who gets off on making his female Shepard a lesbian?  Tough luck for them and for you.  I don't care if it divides the playerbase because of peoples' immaturity, homophobia, or whatever.  We're not going to stay in the past or stay hidden just to not offend or anger you. <_<

Heck, I think I'll take great pleasure in knowing people get offended.  I frankly don't care about people like that nor whether this game sells well or not.  I'm just glad they didn't leave M/M out out of fear of people like you and their reaction.

You're getting the wrong picture, I'm not offenced in any way and it does not anger me, and I'm certainly NOT a homophobe.(I'm bi). I just see ME3 going down the drain in a sesspool of bs among the people themselfs, people make the game not the other way around. Its just suuch a distraction, pretty much how this thread went down the game is going to be reviewed in a the eyes of people months from now x 3000

Point is the INGRIDIENT of relationship is great. But focusing on it too much gives an overpowered taste. Its just an unnesessary, silly thing. But oh well, its not like I wouldn't take advantage of it, but i'm not biest to the LONGTERM picture here either.

Just wanted to echo the OP's sentiment. Not sure if it's groundbreaking nor particularly brave, but I do appreciate the inclusion. Call it fan-service if you want, there's a lot of gamers (gay, bi and straight) who appreciate it and find, personally, it makes for a more complete experience.

like it or not the LIs plots are a major plot point for most ME players. they simply opened it up for our homosexual brethren

According to William C Dietz, asari are actually asexual.

Apparently Dietz doesn't know what asexual means.  They need that mind sex thingie in order to reproduce.  Therefore there are not asexual, simply monogendered.  There's a certain type of lizard that is similar.

According to Deitz, eating cereal in someone else's home is a thrill.

Or, so I've heard.

HOMOPHOBE J/K, personally I think that Garrus and Ashley should both be straight only characters, they just both seem to reguard the Shepard of their own sex as nothing more than a friend...  Tali, Jack, Kaidan, and Thane seem a little bi to me... as for Jacob and Miranda... they could both go either way, and I don't think it would be out of character.

I dont really care who's banging who im just wondering what the deal is with having a sex scene in every game. I mean it just seems to be the hallmark of bioware games now, did the writers cut their teeth on james bond movies or somthing? lol

I don't really care about if Shepard can be homosexual or not it's just that it's so damn annoying when you're trying to be a bro and instead it becomes a bromance,
Dragon Age 2 had this issue with Anders where sometimes Nice comments or even neutral ones would lead to Anders becoming attracted to you and making moves on you.

Would be nice if they could implement some choice at the start of the game where you choose Straight/Bisexual/Homosexual.
It would be really awkward if Garrus, Jacob, Kaidan, or Thane suddenly starts making moves towards you just because a dialogue choice unlocked it.
