I don't want "Disney" ending. Far from it.
I want an OPTION (among the current ones, since I *do* like them) to get Shepard and his/her crew safe and sound. I don't want sunshine and rainbows, all I ask for is some warm feeling about the characters we've grown to love and invested many, many hours interacting with/playing as.
I don't care how hard it is to get it, all I want is the option for it to exist, just like there was an option for Shep to die for good at the end of ME2.

It seems more than obvious to me at least - drive another asteroid into the Earth relay thereby destroying Earth and the Reapers as in ME 2 proved possible. That would be Sheppard's ugly choice for me. And leaving the rest of the galaxy relays intact.

Which one is the `good ending` because if they are accurate, they all seem bad to me.

Wasn't that the same kinda ending that happened at the end of Xenosaga 3? It makes logical sense. Your removing a force from the universe that has shaped its destiny from before mankind walked the earth what do you expect as a positive outcome other than just survival?

Stop bringing in logic to this topic. Just turn and walk away. It'll save you the headache.

That dead reaper from 2 was 37 million years old that means the reapers have been killing intelegent life for at least 740 cycles most likely longer. With that in mind how could anyone expect to beat them in a way that lets the galaxy just pick up and go back to normal?

This is so ridiculous. Thanks a lot Bioware for ruining what I believed was going to be an amazing game.

 Thanks for playing!

mmhhh i guess people are pissed about the relays being gone, which is a iconic part of the IP and
the crew being seperated from shep.

Then again without seeing the whole game yoursself it is hard to know how you feel about it.

makes me we wonder who ME4 will look like.

I don't want disney, I just want logic. Why doesn't destroying the relays kill everyone like in Arrival? Why is the normandy suddenly out in the middle of space next to a relay? Why is there no way to preserve the relays? Why am I putting an army together to fight the reapers when I can just push the self destruct button?

Your last line pretty much nails it. If this is not going to be won through battle, but only through a decision to blow up something, it seems pretty stupid to have been spending time trying to get other races to get together with you.

BUT, I guess someone could argue that the other races were only required to free the earth. The blowing up was the solution for saving the whole galaxy. But then one could counter-argue that if getting together was successful at freeing earth, then it should also be enough to free other planets/systems etc. Maybe all resources were spent pretty much to save earth and that makes you realize that the whole reaper fleet can't be defeated in a head to head confrontation.... But at this point, it feels like someone is stretching awfully hard to make it look like a good ending is impossible.

Did bioware even think about the repercussions of these endings.  The Reapers destroy galatic civilization every 50,000 years or so, and thats horrible, but eventualy, out of the dust new species and civilizations emerge.  With these endings, which i am not a fan, not only will the current species of the galatic community be screwed, all future races that might of appeared if the reapers had succeded will never have a chance of even coming into existance.  I beleive this is extreamily selfish and short-sighted.  If the relays are destroyed/turned off, aand everyone seperated, the galaxy will be in a state of chaos.  I can assume tht eventualy everyone will die, because they can no longer rely on outside sources for food, supplies etc.  Dooming us and all future civilizations. As long as the worlds can feed themselves then life will go on and since most colonies have been founded on guarden worlds that wont be an issue.

They never intended to make a fourth. It was a trilogy. This is what you get unless they decide to milk it further.

I want an ending where Sheperd was about to save the universe, then he took a gunshot to knee ... and now he's just a C-Sec Officer on the Citadel and instead a nameless hero saved the Universe.

Yeah, but there's dozens of quotes floating around like "we've always said 3 is the end of Shepard's saga ;)" to make me think there's milking in the future.

Really I expected something like the relays having to be destroyed in order to destroy the Reapers. They are just too powerful. However, the fact they did something so arbitrary like deliberately separate you from your LI or crew is what makes me mad. It's bad enough that the endings are limited, but they force that crap on you.

I'm still hoping against logic that this is an elaborate prank by Bioware. Oh well. I'll just write it down as a loss so far. The rest of the game looks aight so far.
