Yep, I've been getting these since Monday, in spades. I thought, "What the hell did I do? o_O" but it comforts me a bit that at least it's not just me... I almost never have spam in my Gmail spam folder either, if I do it's usually a random email from school or a retail site marked as spam. Sigh.

Perhaps everyone who were registered at the legacy BioWare Forums could say so in this thread, that way we can at least rule out this site being the problem.

I change my password two days ago of my ea account ( change my old ea account to origin account automatically ) to play mass effect 2. And after that i receive fun girl spam.

It's looking that way: I've had a few dozen attempts to spam my old Mass Effect email address over the past few days, but in the same time there's been only the usual trickle of attempts to spam the address that was obtained from the hack into EA's systems a few months ago.

Yeah, I think that's the same forums, but if there are people affected who did not use the old BioWare site, than the reason behind this sudden spamming must be something else.

The NWN forum security issue was over half a year ago. At this point, it's very possible BioWare had yet another security issue which has caused this.

same here on my bioware mail account , thought it was a virus or keylogger , tried changing password and scanning but nothing changes

been getting a LOT of "Fun Girl" email - started about 2 days ago I think. I've gotten as many as 10 today, but seems to have slowed down the: haven't got one the  last few hours

Last fun girl spam received 14 hours ago (that´s a while, since this week I have been receiving 5 mails per day).

Same here, I have recently been getting these spam mails from "Fun Girl" I have never been on any of the other bioware forums, only have this account for Dragon Age honestly......and it is quite worrying that I found this thread in the top 5 listings on the first page of a Google search wit the key words spam email fun girl

This is really annoying but it just goes straight to my spam folder which I just delete everytime I log on.

Surely it has something to do with Mass Effect 3  release.

That's normal for spam. Check the email headers, it was still actually sent to you.

While we are at it, anyone remember PM spam that people got last year, if I remember the title was "fun girl" with the subject "I like you profile". Same thing? Just this time they have our emails?
