A petition has been created in hopes of coercing YouTube to create some means of combatting the Reply Girl phenomenon (you know the ones...they have thumb nails of their cleavage and ramble about a video they clearly did not watch). The ultimate goal would be for YouTube to either change their algorithms for what shows up in the related video bar (down voting does little to nothing, with views being the primary factor), or to somehow allow users to block specific users from showing up in the related videos section.

Don't really care much but I'll sign.  I usually just flag them if I come across one in my interweb travels. Of course down voting does nothing. You should flag them for Sexual but no nudity or whatever the option is. I'm trying to find this video that I wanted to share about it . AH here it is. Watch this

I think it's gotten to the point where there are literally too many for you to flag and still lead a normal human life.

You do realize that no one here is trying to remove any of the Reply Girl videos, right?

We just want YouTube to give us options as to what content is displayed in the related videos bar. That, or they can tweak their algorithms or try to combat misleading/false tags (though those might be more difficult).

Oh, and I guess I should use [sarcasm][/sarcasm] in the future...

If YouTube screws with the related video bar they will somehow make it even worse. And it sucks bad enough.

You are just jumping on the hater bandwagon.
A lot of videos that are commented on specifically request video replys and she supplys them.
Do you have a problem with how she speaks? I know a lot of people that speak like that.
Are you complaining about quality on a free site that started as an video forum for the amateur?
I remember when a lot of stuff was quick cam vlogs with crayon on paper intro's.
Who cares if she makes money, it's not you paying her.
Go hate on something worth it like violence or toxic waste.

There is not a single bone in my body that hates them (I cannot speak for Doctalen).

I dislike the fact that they are omnipresent. I dislike the fact that I, as a user, have no way to make them disappear from my related videos bar. They can make as much money as they can with reply videos - I simply feel that using misleading tags (this goes against YouTube Terms of Service) to forcibly promote yourself over other people who are equally deserving is an underhanded tactic.

Campaigning against Reply Girls does not prevent me from campaigning against violence, pollution, animal abuse, etc.

1. I don't HATE them. I have my views about what they are doing and Dis-like it. I don't dis-like the actual "girl". I'm sure they are very nice people. 
2. . If someone ASKS for replys then obviously they want replies. To me a reply is actually replying to what they said and providing a sort of conversation. Not just "I saw this cool video and it was cool and I liked it and...". 
3. ^ See above. 
4. Nope. I'm saying about how it isn't really a reply to me. If it is to you then that's fine. 
5. Once again I am not hating. I'm trying to provide some critcism and my opinion.

If someone doesn't want to watch spammy video replies, all they need to do is avoid clicking on them, no? Why bother with flags?
