Are all of these alleged leaked endings the same? There is supposedly multiple different endings, right?
Is it not possible that the ending is some how locked in until the official launch date, where Bioware / EA might secretly unlock and make achievable all possible endings? Something worked in as a patch or some such on launch date.
Pure speculation on my behalf, tbh.
The endings all have the same names to them as the ones in the leaked script and has been backed up by info from the game . The endings are real and the whole game is completely pointless
Script could be forged because they only saw the bad endings.
Oh I am sorry the endings from the game info and the info from the SA guy . all match up exactly with the endings from the leaked script . the endings are real

tell me again how its pointless?
if you can do better please enlighten the board with your creativity
Its simple what is the point in playing Mass Effect 3 . If it does not matter what you do or don't do in the game . Shepard will die and the galaxy will be plunged into the dark ages with the Mass relays being blown up . This is not a war because in a war one side wins and the other loses . Here no one wins and the reapers still return in 50,000 years in 2 out of the 3 endings . Oh and on top of that if you have a LI from ME 2 Bioware basically gives you a big fat F U. In shepard's flashback vision.
so that to you is pointless?
and whats very ironic on this board is that 2 years ago people demanded me3 ivolved only the me1 squad and we all got the answer to that.
now since the me2 squad is limited you same people complain
seriously it isnt bioware doing this its people like you who cant make up there minds on what they want
i dont give 2 craps what you or 90% of this board says i have the ending photo and all i will say is to me i like it if that makes me a butt kisser fine whatever buy me some chapstick but at least im happy with what i get

Yeah, playing a game where all you can do is lose (or lose with a consolation prize), is pointless. And not fun or satisfying. Replay value for the whole series has just fallen to zero. They should have started with the endings and made a dozen of them (perhaps nuanced like DA:O and the Dark Ritual, Loghain vs Alistair), with heavy focus on the LI's. Honestly, if these leaks are legit then BioWare just shot themselves in the foot with a Collector Rifle.[/quote
thats kind of ironic since i can say the same argument for always winning but i dont do i?]

Really? because I find that rather fitting. We all know the reapers have not been beaten before, and in all likely cases, we wouldn't be able to beat them with pulling a Deusex machina from nowhere--Which, people would complain about as well. If the ending really is simply we are all screwed, then I happily accept it. besides, DA:O had an ending where basiclly everyone you have came to know over the game is killed, and anyway you look at it, the the Darkspawn son, we have doomed the world again.

People are not basing judgement from a demo. They're basing it on the leaked script, someone who has a space edition, and an ex-tester for Bioware on the SA forums.Perkocet13 wrote...
there are multiple endings, i can't bieleve people judge an entire game based on the demo, its not the full version, you can't say the entire game sucks just from the demo, and that's why i'm not saying anything negative about the game until march 6th

If the end-of-the-world vibe is indeed true for ME3 then I'm not going to look forward to SW:TOR which I was giving a year before I tried it out. Heck, stuff I'm hearing now isn't giving me any sense of excitement at missing out.

No you are not, I fully expect a great deal of loss by the end of the game, the story is now about sacrificing everything in order to survive, this is crunch time, this is when "Commander" Shepard should be making the real difficult choices like sending in a squad member into a situation he knows they will not return from.Daywalker315 wrote...
Dark and cynical ending? Awesome! Am I the only one that thinks we shouldn't just be able to destroy every Reaper and not lose a single soul in the process?

Seriously, oh boo hoo, the whole game series is ruined! Give me a break. Let me tell you a few things...
1.) The leaked beta was just that; a beta. It wasn't complete, and in no way was that the actual, finished script for the game. Sure, there might be some SIMILIAR things, but in no way will it all be the same.
Let me tell you something. At the beta stage a game is usually content finished, with the exceptions of a few feature creeps.
The script is among the first things to be finished obviously, since it guides all the other aspects.
At the beta stage you can not simply rewrite the story or change any other major aspect of the game. It would be like starting from scratch.
It is naive to assume the beta was just a rough first draft, that will be totally different in the end. Same goes for the demo.

Stories with dark endings can work. The Count of Monte Cristo is pretty bleak, but it's also take of revenge. Tales about a hero's journey usually and rightfully end with the hero's actions making a difference. But at this point it's too late. I was ready for Shep to die, I still am, I just really hope he's not alone when it happens. Shepard and he players have at least earned that much. Oh well!

You'd be singing a different tune if you'd read some of what the spoilers group has to offer. Not in the least because it includes actual, verifiable information from the Space Edition of ME3.
