Let me give you an advice.
If you want a pleasant, all happy ending, go read a fairy tale.
We have a war with the Reapers here, not a walk in the sunny forest.
If it wasn't dramatic, that would be awful for a thread this big.
Because that would say: Here, that's it, it didn't really matter to do sacrifices in order to achieve victory as the enemy posed no real threat and could be defeated with a slingshot.

It's not dark. People are angry because it's stupid. But I assume some emos could find it brilliant.

It was all a plot by Tzeentch. On a side note Shepard becomes the God emperor of mankind and is interred in the citadel to rule over his now non existent empire. Have to love how these endings work, now I wonder the keepers can genetically engineer a new love interest for him....

Thats the beauty of it, its not really the Relay detonation endings, its the epilogue that you don't get to have with Shepard and his Xenos or female Waifus.
