As stated before:

The endings are old news. I knew about them for months now and I had plenty of time to prepare and even create some kind of story that may deal with a post-war Shepard & Normandy.

Now the Normandy's fate is the real kick in the face.
Let me explain it:

I split up the endings into two parts each: a "global ending" and a "personal ending". The "global ending" is the one about the fate of the galaxy. That's also the ending you can alter in some way. It's up to Shepard if the Reapers are gone, if organics and synthetics merge or if any technology based on the Reapers gets destroyed.

The "personal ending" is the one most players are attached to, since it deals with personal consequences for Shepard and most of the other characters known from the series. This ending is ALWAYS the same: Shepard ends separated from his/her crew, either by death or by distance. There's simply no way Shepard will end with his/her crew together!
That makes the "personal ending" always sad.

And if you're RPing your Shepard like I do - "he saved the galaxy not just for the faceless crowd but for his friends & his love" - surviving in the end is hell. Death shows more mercy here. And that's why my Shepard will - RP - take a bullet in his head if he survives.
Since all he was fighting for is lost and gone for good.

The "personal ending" is a kick in the face because it's always sad - and it doesn't leave a backdoor open for another comic, book or fanfiction. Shepard's story is over, indeed.

No they are real. Check this pic out and you tell me are they fake

Ok... I actually believe the leaks regarding the endings, but I have to admit that picture proves nothing.  Yes, relays are exploding, or something is happening to them anyway.  Well, a relay exploded in Arrival as well.  Who's to say that these are representative of every single ending?  Who is to say these shots are even from ANY ending?  Four vague pictures do not prove   anything.

Unless you can explain the last pic of the SR 2 and I mean with some serious facts then I am buying what I have been hearing that the SR 2 does crash on some remote planet and her crew dies

Yeah, if you read my post I actually agree with you.  I'm only saying the picture proves nothing.  If you want me to come up with a plausible explanation here you go: the picture only represents one possible ending.  Do I believe that?  No, based on other things.  But the picture itself isn't convincing.

EDIT: Also, the crew does not die.  They're stranded, but it's heavily implied that they start a new colony.

Yeah the Crucible is such a great plot device that was totally hinted at and foreshadowed in ME1 and ME2. Its totally great. Endings were well thought out. And this Guardian character? Best character ever and totally not overdone. Every story needs a character that can magically kill off a civilization destroying race with space magic and in the process create an ending that's artificially grimdark. Also, Normandy crash lands on some planet and Garrus eats Tali.

Great writing.

Are you serious well some people are in for one hell of a shock come next week

It's sarcasm.

Afaik:

In the Control Ending, the hatch opens and no one leaves the Normandy, so I guess they're all dead.

In the Merge Ending, Joker and EDI leave the hatch followed by the two squadmates who're most important in your playthrough (if they were on board and alive): one is the LI, if you had one (except Jack, Miranda, Jacob and Thane). Their eyes are glowing red.

The Destruction Ending is pretty much similar like the Merge Ending MINUS red eyes and MINUS EDI. She got destroyed as well (after all, there's Reaper tech in her bluebox).

In ALL three cases, the Normandy crashes on a forsaken world. In ALL three cases Shepard isn't with her, ending either separated by death or distance for good.

Is it sad that I have more attachment to the SD Chimaera then the Normandy?

Yeah but Thrawn was one of the greatest characters of all time.

not really, to each his own lol.

all i really give a sh*t about, truthfully, is the LI.  everyone can die, INCLUDING the LI (dramatically perhaps via a mortal wound or something), but I want some kind of conclusion/true finality to that other than "if shepard survives, they will never see each other again..."

that's actually cool and impactful as a possible ending, however, I just feel like there should also be an ending (or 2) similar to what I already described.  doesn't need to be all sunshine and whatever happy metaphors people want to throw out there.  especially after discovering that flashback BS...

but that's just me.

The normandy apparently travels through a wormhole at the end, right?

I don't know why, but this reminds me to the begining of the Star Wars Universe (i saw it somewhere) where a ship makes his way trough a wormhole to the Star Wars galaxy, while they where scaping from some kind of Ai or enemy robot.

Just saying

The endings are being discussed in [url=http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/347/index/9512916] this thread. Please take your discussion there. Thank you.

End of line.
