Never heard anything about that. Though Square-Enix and BioWare are collaborating on a DLC for XIII-2. It's either going to be N7 Armour for Serah, since Noel is already getting an Ezio costume or Omnitool weapons for the both of them.

FF XIII-2 at least had the "To Be Continued" popping up. Meaning, they probably won't leave it there. Tetsuya Nomura, of the Kingdom Hearts franchise and the character designer for a lot of the FF games, has a habit of leaving games with a cliffhanger. I think it's a "Square-thing". Most of the time a lot of questions pop up, but not all of them needs to be answered as sometimes it can be better to leave them to the imagination of the player. I'm sure there will be elaboration on that part. I haven't really played XIII-2 yet, so I can't really say much beyond the spoilers I've seen. I did immensely enjoy XIII and thought the story was good. I can't say anything about ME3, as I chose not to spoil that game for myself. I'd rather play it through, completely ignorant about what's going on, thus making the whole experience more enjoyable.

Indeed. Remember FFVII? We never kicked up a fuss about that games ending. We speculated, theorised and had fun to doing so. Now as we grow older, we just complain about everything. Even I'm complaining now, which proves my point.
