you REALLY need to learn what a good RPG is
imo there should be 3 types of endings
1. the sunshine and bunnys every one lives etc
2. thow the rest of the Galaxy under the bus Humanity first at all costs only human party members live
3. throw Sol under the bus shep and only human party memebers die
and or some combo of them
or thats what i was hoping

Before I knew anything about the ending I assumed they were going to have:

1) A Cerberus ending (Reapers defeated, humanity the dominant power after the war and everyone else in ruins, possibly through controlling the Reapers.

2) A human sacrifice ending (the galaxy is saved but humanity and Earth pay a high price for victory)

3) A Shepard sacrifice ending (as per 2 but with Shepard sacrificing themselves in place of Earth and humanity).

Instead we get two endings where we join the Reapers, one where they die, and no matter what happens civilization collapses, your crew and ship are trapped on Space Gilligan's Island, and Shepard dies alone. WTF?

Oh, and there's no such thing in the gaming industry as rpg, because you have to play a canonic story with canonic endings no matter how many choice and consequences options you have, no matter how many dialogue options you have. Reap rpg is played with paper, pencil and dices... played with others and based on your imagination and fantasy, in your mind. There you have the freedom of choice. ME is only a nicely written, interactive sci-fi saga with a few rpg-gameplay elements. Think about it as an interactive movie, where you have limited options of direction. That's it. The rest is illusion and wishful thinking.

You can play a real RPG without dice. Pens and Paper if you can't do it digitally.

The endings are being discussed in this thread. Please take your discussion there. Thank you.

End of line.
