Sand + Shandra missing/invisible

Just started Act 2 but Sands and Shandra doesn't join. They are not in roster nor the tavern. I tried using the rs kr_roster_edit dialogue to add them to roster and even adding them to party from the selection screen and confirming, nothing happens. Also, there are no waypoints when i try to exit the docks. Anyone have any ideas? Running kaedrin 1.42 and tony ai 2.2

the act1 -> act2 scene transition has got to be the buggiest part of the OC.

ok thanks, i'll try it. I read on gamebanshee that you were supposed to get the shards back after killing zeeaire and looting her body but i don't till act 2 loads with the buggy crap. Could that be part of the problem? Also the game crashes around 50% of the time when trying to load up act 2 for me.

uh, if the game is crashing on Act1 -> Act 2, there's something more deeply heebee-jeebied

yes, you're supposed to loot Zeeaire's corpse and take back the shards, but I'm looking at two scripts that do safety checks (16_cs_act1end, 16a_start_act2) ...

what also troubles, is that Nevalle's conversation (20_cs_nevalle_mu) hides and reveals hotspots on the worldmap for Act2, but you say none are there at all; it's like only half his convo fired,


If you aren't using new classes from Kaedrin, try renaming your MyDocs->NwN2->Override folder to "Override_bak"
- then reload from a Save and try the Act1 -> Act2 transition. ( if you *are* using new classes from Kaedrin, then removing the Override may itself cause a crash, since i hear that custom Feats and things won't play nice if they're not found )
- this could help isolate, if the problem is in the SaveGame folder itself ......

i suspect it is but

Running kaedrin and using the hexblade base class. Guess i need to restart then if the script running doesn't work?

restart .. mebey a clean, careful reinstall (after a defrag & registry clean, etc.)

try the scripts, nothing to lose there. You might be able to kludge things together enough to continue ...

well my save game is borked. Tried the scripts on a new installation and still nothing. :( guess time to start over.
