So this idea came into my head. What game endings of last year sucked in your opinion and which did you like? This if for games out in 2011 only please. Idk if I should of made this thread because I still need to play exclusives on PS3 when I get one.

Be sure to list the game title and THEN the reasons why you liked or disliked the ending so some may be able to avoid games they have not played yet. 

My most hated: RAGE. This game does not even give you an end boss. It just ENDS. You re-awaken the arks and that's it.  As soon as you come across The authority you're practically finished with them. Yahtzee sums it up

My favorite ending: Probably Arkham city. I never thought they would of killed The Joker but I knew Mark Hamil was retiring so shoulda guessed it. It was my favorite ending of the year. I can't describe how I feel about it in words. I just loved it.

Saints Row: The Third's Gangstas in Space ending was the worst. Fortunately it was made up by the other possible ending.

My favorite was the ending to Dungeon Siege III. It felt nostalgically old school with its vaguely animated scenes. More importantly, it was satisfying despite being open ended in respects.

Worst Dragon Age 2. Yea I know original right? But this is one of the few games I bought 2011.
Best definitely goes to Witcher 2. What a fantastic game from start to finish and I love having the option to not kill a certain person.

Games that I played last year in no particular order:
Dragon Age 2, Batman AC, The Witcher 2, Deus Ex HR, Bastion, From Dust, Skyrim, AC: Revelations, Portal 2, Dead Space 2.

Worst:
I felt that Skyrim ending, while arguably better than Oblivion, was still not that interesting. Dragon Age 2 come close though, because it just doesn't make much sense; still liked Act 3 overall I guess.

Best:
uhm... Can't choose between Arkham City and Deus Ex. Batman was unexpected and really well done, while Deus Ex felt right - I don't know how to properly explain it - and a good way to think about Adam's journey and its consequences (I also liked the idea of using videos)

RAGE: In RAGE, when you press a button at the end, nothing happens. Button, nothing, disconnected at RAGE's ending movie.

I really enjoyed RAGE, but never actually finished it...so, judging from others' reactions, I guess I'm glad I didn't.

Worst ending: DA2

Best Ending: ... not sure, since I didn't actually finish many games. Of the ones I did, I guess I'd say Skyrim. I can't help it; I loved Sovngarde. Alduin was too easy, but everything leading up to it was pretty cool (except Delphine).

I nearly stormed Bioware when I realized the game ended the way it did.

Best Ending: Bastion

Cliched but goddamn the ending always makes me smile as The Kid... yeah... Oh and the kickass music didn't hurt...
