Particularly worrying is the "Game will refund you via in-store credit" line. Because people totally trust them to accept that now.

I'm rather worried now, I pre-ordered back in September last year to make sure I got my N7 edition. Game had the exclusive rights to the N7 edition too, does this mean that UK fans now get completely screwed over?

I just read this on IGN. GAME screwed me earlier this year, so I moved to GameStop.ie. However this is terrible, what the hell is going on? I think GAME maybe going into Administration...

I'm fairly sure that offering a refund in store credit under this circumstance is illegal under UK law. So you're well within your rights to demand they refund you in cash, assuming the first link is correct and the others aren't.

Whoa... thank god I canceled my Game preorder and went with Amazon.it.

zavvi is asking 102£ for the CE O.o edit: seems fixed now at 64.95£

This is bad. I've quickly ordered from Play.com, still worried though. I had my N7 edition preordered from GAME.co.uk since June! It's the beginning of the end.

Yeah GAME group have been in financial trouble recently, being unable to get credit to buy stock in has compounded this problem as they have not had Ubisoft titles for the vita launch and Nintendo have stopped supplying them with titles on credit. I feel sorry for those who've pre-ordered and paid it off before now as GAME group will likely go into administration by the Summer. On the other hand the closing down firesales will be awesome.

You can just torrent it, I have all the collector's edition/pre-order stuff from ME2, but I only bought the standard edition.
