Damnit, I ordered my CE last year from Game, I've been at work since yesterday where I got the e-mail saying they are no longer going to stock it, I go to purchase another CE and everywhere is sold out of the PC CE.

I just wanted the art book to be honest, the digital copy really doesn't interest me :(

Same here, only found out about this about 15 minutes ago, been searching for somewhere else to pre-order the N7 Collector's for PC and so far I've had zero luck! :( Every site I've checked appears to be out of stock on the PC version of the N7 Collector's Edition. Is there any chance at all now?

This really isn't good for GAME or EA/BioWare, why have they left it until just over a week before the release to make this announcement?

It's quite bad to be honest. I'm quite glad at the moment that Game are having these troubles, it may mean that they no longer control the distribution of these titles to the UK. If there were any other option, I would have ordered it elsewhere. Unfortunately, there wasn't and now, there isn't.

Ok working it out the PC CE from Mighty Ape New Zealand would cost you $146.99 NZD = £77.20 and not including customs charges that might be levied.

Imagine how pissed off you'd be if, come 9/10 March you get a letter from customs saying "We need you to come and pick something up and pay to have it released".....

After all this hassle I wouldn't be surprised if you accelerated your keyboard to an appreciable fraction of the speed of light :P

Yep the actual game costs about £13 extra and delivery to UK costs about £10 on top of that making a total price of £78. Can't speak for their reliability though. Check online for review maybe.

They'd probably hold it for at least a week first while they decide how much they're going to charge you for as well.

If I miss out on the warfare pack because I wasn't born with the gift of precognition I will throw a hissy fit so epic it will make Basil Fawlty look restrained.

I just imagined a Turian Basil Fawlty. It made me lol. Thanks.

Secondly, I'm pissed about the pack too but not as much as you, it seems, simply because until about 9am today (from 7pm yesterday) I was sure I was not gonna get a CE.

Amazon are always slow to update things they'll be the last we hear from. They were very slow at putting the CE up for pre order too

Anyone want to make any guesses as to whether Amazon will dispatch early with first class postage? fingers crossed they do, because GAME was planning on dispatching 2-3 days before the release date.

With first class you'll generally get it the day after shipping.

Amazon are usually pretty good, especially when its Indigo Starfish that are supplying.

However, it does say on my account that the estimated arrival is the 9th, but I'd say there was a reasonable chance of an early dispatch, providing EA send them out in time to Amazon's warehouses.

I'd be suprised if you managed to pick them up that "cheap". I'd expect to see the majority somewhere in the £125+ range, if not £150+. Maybe that's just the cynic in me speaking though.

There will most certainly be Customs charges, last time I purchased a PC game from overseas to the UK  I got hit with about £10 worth of Customs charges! :(

As far as i have seen when they promise release day posting when you pick first class you get it. A friend of mine recieved a game the next day once but it's never happened to me personally with Amazon. Generally barring any problems you'll get it on release day if they say you will.

Especially given that the standard Amazon Marketplace/ebay traders who don't try to drastically overcharge you will probably have their copies snagged by the ebay vultures.

Exactly, eBay was my last resort until I saw the prices. Then I started looking for other last resorts lol.

The only way you arent hit with custom charges when sending stuff from abroad eg outside the EU is if the package is classed as Gift. $600 CAN sent home on holidays once so ok it was all Manga books but still.

Don't get your hopes up too much, I've had Amazon not dispatch until the day of release before. I have also had them arrive on the day of release too, so its a bit of a mixed bag with them in my experience.

I'm just..tired i guess.  this has been one epic mess,  and - it seems - rather than EA doing what most people would say is the decent thing and give everyone who bought the CE the dlc, some are gonna miss out through sheer pot luck.
