See my post re: punctuation. It's actually "sass that hoopy, Ford Prefect; there's a frood who really knows where his towel is."

Shop.to are only offering the N7 Warfare Gear DLC for standard editions of the game.

Because the CE is sold out, they are using it to generate new sales. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

No doubt EA don't care one way or the other .

As written, it comes out as 'hey, check out that [really together guy] Ford Prefect. There's a [really amazingly together guy] who knows where his towel is'.

Any word on any more retailers getting pre-order DLC? If not the Warfare Pack, then at least the Argus Rifle.


You know - like ALL PRE-ORDERS, regardless of retailer, are supposed to come with...

Thats correct with play you get N7 warfare pack and the Argus rifle.

Update for those who bought their N7s from Thehut, Play or Zavvi; I've checked their websites and all N7s ordered from there will come with the N7 Warfare Pack DLC, all platforms.

also, EA marketing, explain me this: The bonus is supposed to reward players for ordering way in advance from exclusve retailers. Now that it isn't exclusive anymore, and thus, no extra money can be gained from this, why not just give it to everyone who got duped? That seems the most fair to me, and at least it'll actually earn you some money since your clientele will be more pleased.

Play also give you the Argus Rifle with any edition, and Zevvi include that with the SE only. No idea what Thehut is doing in regards to the Argus Rifle.

That's actually not on EA but on the sellers. The exclusivity codes are purchased from EA by the retailers to entice more customers to buy from them as opposed to their competitors. Amazon have either chosen not to, or deemed it not worth it. EA gain the money for the Pre-order bonuses directly from the retailers when they purchase the rights to do provide the packs.

This isn't very good is it, a few days ago I had a nice pre order place in good faith with nice sparkly n7 gear and now I don't.

It's like the mad hatters tea party in Alice in Wonderland, we were all in our seats with our pre orders being nice loyal fans then someone shouted "Change Places!", some of us lucked out and ended up pretty much in the same seat we were in to start with, but i've ended up in a different seat and someone else is eating my cake.

This seems to be the case, probaly the last time I use them after this debacle. 

Of course EA won't care, that's the point of pre-order bonus content. It isn't meant to be a reward for consumers who buy the title, but rather an incentive to drive sales higher. Since they can assume anyone who buys the CE would do so regardless of the pre-order bonus content (since the CE is feature packed already) then naturally the value in the pre-order content is in driving sales in the SE.

PC version was in stock again there. Just pre-ordered with Play, which means I get the N7 Warfare Pack and M-55 Argus Rifle. Now to cancel with Amazon
