its GAME UK, I doubt it affects there operations outside of the UK.

Thank goodness for me! I feel sorry for those in UK, though.

Never tried Zavvi. But Play.com have always delivered on the day of release for me & people I know.

I only have the option of free delivery on play when I order. Is that good enough do you know? Cheers.

Not in Portugal, somethimes they take 2 weeks or 3! I still have my order on Zavvi just in case, but I am waiting for Amazon. They never failed me a release day and in regular orders, it arrives in 3 days maximum, and it's free shipping!

ok gone with Zavvi.com they are £5 cheaper than play.com and from what I have heard you get it the earliest with Zavvi.com

but keeping the order for the strategy guide with play.com just to see what they are like

I hope me switching to Zavvi.com from play.com wont bite me on the ass.

Actually according to the guy I talked to in my local Game shop, it is EA's fault that Game won't be stocking Mass Effect 3. Apparently EA was the only company that Game talked to about resorting out a contract that refused, the rest agreed and helped Game out but as EA refused it wouldn't be fair to expect all these other companies to help Game out while EA didn't so Game is not stocking any EA game after SSX for March (at least that's the current timetable).

 Also just in case no one has mentioned it, when you go into the shop to sort out the cancelled pre-order they do give you your cash back and as an apology give you £5 store credit on your game card. (Though that might change but I doubt it.)

And in case I'm sounding too pro-Game atm, I do still think that Game is a fast sinking ship, though not as fast as I originally thought this morning when I found out about all this.

An amusing piece of propaganda considering it's not the first time GAME has had problems like this and Nintendo have also decided to pull out of stocking a new game because of their bullcrap.

They can point fingers all they want but millions of fingers will still be pointing at them.

Crap situation.




Firstly games financial issues were well known long before the exclusivity was announced. If was aware and concerned then EA should also have been.

If there had been another option for getting that content I would not have pre-ordered from game. If there was any concern about games credit situation, customers should not have been given incentives to order from that retailer. I (I think somewhat reasonably) took the eventual announcement that game had exclusive content as an indication that there stock of me3 was secure. This along with the hilarious delay in announcing who had the exclusive content has made me spending 70 quid on a video game far more complicated than it has.

Im not going to make any further pre orders until there is a proper statement from ea/biowarwe. If I miss out on the opertunity to give ea 30 odd quid extra for a robotic dog and patch and a few assorted goodies then so be it.

Noting that my GAME xbox 360 CE preorder is now listed as cancelled in my preorder list. My PS3 CE preorder is still listed as unshipped. Damn this is confusing

I've always used the free P&P with Play.com on pre-orders, and they always arrive on the release day.

my hopes of getting me3 have been destroyed, the fact that i pre-ordered last year is a bitter pill to swallow never mind we learn this a week from the games launch!
this game was the only thing i had to look forward to uk is in a sorry state theres nothing else but me3!

I don't think so, I've heard it's a company-wide "crisis", so it should affect all Game retailers, I'm heading to my Game retailer in a few hours to clarify this anyway.

On my game.co.uk page it still says "Unshipped" but when I click on my order I don't have the cancel button anymore and the status now says "Canceled". No email from game yet.

Will wait on amazon.co.uk to stock the CE and order there.

I clicked on it, it does say unshipped... but i've just emailed them and will wait for as you are amazon.co.uk to stock it.

...man...just, wow. I feel terrible for Mass Effect fans in the UK now....

But as said above, even as a "rude American" I agree that you should be courteous to any employees of GAME you interact with as their company could go down at any time. I remember I was working at Circuit City when it went down. That  wasn't fun at all.

I have to agree with the comment that people who pre-ordered the CE but now cannot get one should still be given the collector’s edition DLC providing they can prove it was pre-ordered from GAME.

I think it will only stay in Poland & UK. but who knows...
We got info 2 weeks ago..UK 1 week before release...
I don't even want to think what would happend if players in other countries would get e-mails like we did day or two before release...
