Well, technically if he is using their name then it's illegal. But he isn't exactly, he's just using a misleading seller name and similar colour scheme to GAME to convince people of that.


I am most likely going to end up with a spare copy of the 360 version as I was unable to cancel one of my orders. If I was going to sell it then I'd sell it at cost + P&P.

I have the same deal if I dont give it to my friend but not sure a pal version will run in america I will put it on my ebay store

I dont know if the 360 version is region free.
But the main problem is the savegame, The ntsc version cant be used to import a game to a pal version.
Example:
ME2(ntsc) -> ME3(PAL) wont work.

^ Thats a link to the Collectors Edition for 360 (which i preordered), with no details on the Warfare pack (or any mention of a preorder bonus)

Anyone know if this is a simple mistake insofar? Are Blockbuster going to annnouce the CE gets the warfrace pack later today/2nd March? Or are those that pre-ordered the CE not getting the bonus?

Well look at it like this imo...I think Bioware were personally in trouble...why they sold out to EA...many many rpg develpers EA could have bought...why Bioware specifically?

Shattered Steel - Hardly worth getting excited over...
Baldurs Gate - Mostly made/written by Black Isle..existing IP

NWN - First wholly developed game...terrible storyline..mediocre at best...online kept game alive..existing IP again

DA: Origins - Could have been so much more if EA had not forced Bioware into making for console market...but a sure fire great game

(so we on 2 good to great games...rest average at best, kotor above average)

ME2 - Pure awesomeness...
Awakening - oh dear...the start of the rot...
DAII - What a disaster...doesn't get any better...
Old Republic - Very mixed reviews, and despite what EA say...losing subs by the thousands already for an MMo you can finish inside of a week...
ME3 - We shall have to see...hoping for the best
C&C - Really...Bioware making an RTS? Oh dear...
DAIII - From all reviews so far...avoid like the plague...

So there you have it...given some rabid fans...and the way they talk themselves up...hardly what you would call a steller back catalogue and future cat of games is it?

All above purely mu own opinion...but I;m sure if people are being honest...many would agree...

And also very wrong.

Baldur's Gate games were developed by Bioware. Interplay was the publishser, and used the Black Isle brand for it. Black Isle did not make these games.

Mass Effect also was developed before EA became Biowares publisher. Mass Effect was published by Microsoft, so of course it was going to be a console game. EA has no influence on the title at all. The PC version was published by EA of course but this released a long time after the XBox version.

Afterall they were getting it from Game/Gamestation as they were originally the exclusive retailers before EA decided to withdraw.

Exactly, we were guarenteed the warefare pack with Game/Gamestation . And seeing as 
Game/Gamestation  were also the exclusive sellers of the CE it was our only option to acquire both.

But thanks to this fudge up the people who were previously promised this stuff are not getting it (thats if you ordered off somewhere like amazon.co.uk like me :/)

Please... correct this Bioware/EA, its not fair that we lose out like this.

I ordered whilst on the phone to a member of staff, who put the order through, he left me on hold whilst he checked that I could order more than one copy........... He then came back and processed it for me... I then paid for all copies up front and the money was taken from my card. They entered into a contract to supply me with those copies when they took my money. 
I am not being greedy, I am not planning on making a profit as I said those copies of the game were gifts... gifts that I have been budgeting for, for months 

If they have implemented it, it has been since I placed my order and I am fairly sure they shouldn't be cancelling retroactively it is an apalling business practise and this will be my first and last purchase with them...

shop-to probably wants to avoid a mass of pre order cancellations from people who got more than one copy. single copy buyers less likely to cancel. just total guess though

Erm... I paid up front... as I said... so I'm not really going to cancel, they were taking NO risk with me, they had my money, they will be sitting on the rest of the money I paid for almost a week..... <_<

I initally ordered a couple of copies via shopto and then moved to amazon when they put it up for £55 - called shopto and had my money back in my paypal account in seconds

very impressed with their customer service, and prices.

Yep seen it... But if you read my comment........ I was on the phone to customer services who went through the order with me AND checked to make sure I could order more than one...  You can't change the rules AFTER the fact... It's not right. And they entered into a contract with me the minute they took my money...

But, as it was a viable option, I recently ordered in GameStop (in store again, it's right across the street from GAME) thinking they'd have the Warfare Gear as they did with the Blackstorm/Terminus Armour for ME2...

So, I still have a CE ordered (thankfully, I'd have been gutted if GAME had failed me like so many people), but I see on the site that the Warfare Gear is exclusive to XtraVision here in Ireland. That was a shock :/

No. They didn't have to cancel anything - first come, first served, I was in there as soon as it went up, they cancelled MINE so they could allocate to someone else - your logic is backward. I am only getting ONE copy for myself as I have stated the others were for other people. One person/one copy - see? My daughter is not 18 therefore cannot open a credit account anywhere, so she shouldn't get one?? That's a logic fail tbh... sorry, I don't mean to come off sounding ungracious. I ordered from Game on the 8th June that's pretty much 9 months ago... As soon as it was available. No one is losing because of me and frankly I am insulted by the suggestion

It wasn't meant as an insult. I'm simply saying I can see why they did it this way and limiting it to one copy ordered per account, rather than cancelling someone else who only had one copy ordered meaning they get nothing.

This whole pre-order situation is messed up and unfortunately limited supply means some people are going to miss out. Unfortunately in this case it's you and I can see why it would **** you off. But shopto are simply doing their best to be fair as possible to everyone who ordered.

Also - FYI... She is 18 in July, for all you know it could be a birthday gift.... It isn't, but it could be.... and even so... she's plenty old enough... not everywhere has a stick up their *ss about a bit of bad language and some flesh  The UK is pretty relaxed about this as you should know, since you seem to be in the UK :innocent:

Did you read my post where I explained that a Shopto member of staff went to check to make sure that I could order more than one copy?
As I said, no one had their copy cancelled for me, there were copies available, he checked that too... They are not being fair.... They entered into a contract with me the moment they took my money, I paid up front.
Nothing was cancelled for my benefit, I was on the phone for over 30 minutes dealing with this... Again... I ordered these games in June, I am not taking anything from anyone, I haven't bought any more copies than I ordered back then. It is not fair to say to me NOW a week before release 'Oh, no you can't have have it now because other people who didn't order 9 months ago also want a copy'
You see my point? I am not trying to be combative here, honestly...  But I am the one who has had the rug pulled from under me, I haven't done it to someone else.

Yes I saw it, and I get it. I'm sorry things haven't worked out, but I can still see things from their point of view.

What format was it?

Graingergames still have PC and PS3 copies available.

HMV are still offering the Xbox version.
