So you're telling me that me, and many others, have put money towards something that may or may not arrive at my/their front door(s)... AGAIN?

So far it's just what one person has been told by a HMV staff member. The fact that they have delisted the xbox version now they have sold out suggests they DO have the stock to ship.

I used expedited delivery from Amazon, with Prime.  They haven't been shipped yet so no tracking info, though.

And no word on the pre-order incentive that I know.

Yes, but if they're telling us it's not 100%, then that would mean that something's up. Perhaps they forgot to de-list it and so a few people may have ordered copies which they don't have enough of. Either way, if you pre-ordered there immediately, or yesterday, you should probably be fine, unless they go and pick from a hat...

I use it all the time and yes you can track it. It's not GPS tracking, which makes me sad lol.

Has anyone been able to get to the bottom of whether Blockbuster are giving the n7 warfare pack away with collectors edition pre orders or just the standard edition as the have listed on their website? Seems either very silly or very cynical.

For those who pre-ordered from Amazon UK I just received this email:

Hello

I have checked and can see that your order for "Mass Effect 3: Collector's Edition (PS3)" is still due to dispatch on 7 March 2012 and arrive on 9 March 2012, which is release day.

Amazon.co.uk has no intentions of cancelling any pre-orders made for "Mass Effect 3: Collector's Edition (PS3)"

I hope this allays your concerns and that you have a great day.

And for delivery I just picked first class

I know this isn't a specific CE issue, but for those who saw the N7 Warfare pack as one of the main reasons for pre-ordering, note that Play.com are now offering it as part of their stanard pre-order in adition to the M55 rifle.

No offense, but that information is a little late. They are sold out of all Collectors editions, so if it is anyones intention to get the full N7 pack and hasn't pre-ordered already, it is now impossible to recieve all of it.

No offence taken, but if you read what I posted you would realise that I wasn't talking about the CE, hence my "this isn't a CE issue" comment.  The point I was trying to make, and which you missed, was that if people were interested primarily in the N7 warfare pack (as opposed to CE content) then Play.com are now offering it when you pre-order the standard edition (i.e. not the CE).  Previously, they were only offering the Argus rifle with standard editions, but as of yesterday you can get the N7 Warfare pack through them as well... with the standard edition... not talking about the CE here as I said in my original post. Hi all,

I was just told by a customer service ... lady ... person ... rep? ... whatever ... for Blockbuster that the ME3 preorder should come with the PO bonus regardless of the version but that depends on whether or not the actual bonus is given to BB to offer (by EA) iyswim.

Sounds about right. Shopto had to "have talks" with EA yesterday before they could offer it to CE owners aswell as SE owners.

Ha:happy: anybody with a shopto account want to win the Normandy?

It should, they're advertising the SE with the PO bonus

For me, the most important thing with all this is actual in game content, patches, books and special tins are a nice extra but its missions, weapons, armour and such that i'm actually interested in.

I'm trying to work out, if Blockbuster only give the pre order n7 warfare pack stuff with SE, am I better just buying the se somewhere i'll get the warfare stuff, and buying from ashes as dlc on day one.

I can live without the hoodie and robotic dog, but would I miss out on any other actual in game stuff?

This is all getting far too complicated :P

You won't miss anything in-game if you get the DLC and the weapons (N7 Arsenal pack) is mad available to the public later.

Ive worked with a company that sold quite a bit of stuff on amazon during a summer when I was a teenager as my parents said I needed to get a job to put on my CV. It is amazon policy (or was back then) that you could not list any item that you did not physically have. Of course Im sure some companies might break this rule but it is unlikely. When you create a new sales page (or add to an existing one) you put how much stock you have of the prodeuct. As such if the people who sold the CE of the game have been truthful and only put stock on they are sure they can physically get then you should have no problem getting the game.

Thats a good sign!

I've sent a wee email message thing through their website asking for clarification as i'm rather cynical and want it in writing :P

I don't care about all these pre-order extras. I just want my collectors edition. Even if I have to wait after release just to find one online.

Edit : Also have they shown the official press release of it.  Or have they not bothered?

I agree.  The other pre-order incentives will undoubtedly be available for download and purchase at some point, and using the money from GAME to buy ms points, for me, means that I'll be able to buy it (shouldn't be more than the ME2 weapo/armour packs) with that.  The CE and it's goodies are more important, imho.

The my exact plan aswell, using the £10 worth of points to get the DLC eventually.  I do just want my collectors.

I must admit after all the fiasco about the day-one-dlc and GAME preorder cancellation plus the fact that I can't actually play the game until 22 March (or in MAY because of #*%&@ complications with shipping and delivery) - AAARRRRGGGGGH. I don't care, I give up, I'll just watch the ME3 endings and various exciting bits on youtube and whatsitis.

I don't want to make anyone worry.... BUT

The Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector’s Edition will now be available at the following retailers:
Amazon.co.uk [Sold Out]
Play.com [Sold Out]
ShopTo.net [Sold Out]
Zavvi.com [Sold Out]
Blockbuster.co.uk [Sold Out]
Gamestop.co.uk
Sainsbury's

That's what EA have said, and EA have been really good at keeping that up to date, as each retailer has been given the product, they have appeared on that list. HMV are not there, and I honestly don't believe they have the game. They will have listed it assuming that they could just order as many copies as they needed, I found it fishy that there was no product image (EVERY other retailer had it).

I had the opportunity to order from them yesterday - and I decided against it.

That's crazy! People are actually bidding on other people's pre-orders or what?
