After wrestling with an EA support-man, I have yet to recieve any information about HMV being a reliable source for the N7 Collectors Edition. Not a single piece of information, in fact, I was sent here to find out whether or not they are reliable. I though EA was in charge of marketing and pre-order DLC, why the hell are they sending me to Bioware to solve the problem?

Well that's good news, so that means both my preorders of the CE from Blockbuster and from play.com will come with the Warfare pack too... strange that play.com advertised the Warfare pack with the CE lsiting and Blockbuster don't though...?!

Blockbuster now has it listed. Blockbuster now gets everything Play.com does, even with CE's. It would be easier to cancel with Play.com as it is just a click, rather than a phonecall. Just fyi.

It was. In the product page, there was a tab saying "Bonus Offer" and the N7 Warfare pack was there, I'm pretty sure of it.

Well, either way it doesn't matter much now... but at least the Warfare pack comes with both CE and SE from retailers that are providing the Warfare pack... whether they advertise it with the CE or not apparently

Game didn't announce the warfare pack untill quite late, when I placed my pre-order it wasn't mentioned...after the announced, check the CE page and it was listed as a bonus...but wgo the hell cares now, kind of a mute point now.

I have email confirmation for my PC version of the CE from blockbutser, that it comes with warfare pack, plus the title for the PS3 version (still avalable) says it is.  The PC and Xbox ones aren't even listed anymore.

They are. Their EA's support staff obviously just do not know what retailers are offering the CE and/or DLC (they probably never will, either).

They are pretty much only there to help with game support, they never know much at all (if anything) about pre-launch arangements.

The M55 Argus is included in the warfare pack.

The M55 is NOT part of the warfare pack... but lots of places are providing that too... play.com and a few others seems to be fully loaded, CE comes with all that content plus warfare pack plus M55... sweet deal!

Actually....yes it is. BioWare have confirmed this themselves, see numerous confirmations from Tully Ackland above.

From what I can tell, however, The Argus was also available outside of the Warfare Pack as well, which is why a lot of stores have separated them. You can have the Argus without the Warfare Pack, but if you can't have the Warfare Pack without the Argus.

Edit: Due to a page refreshing error, I see that this has been state numerous times already. Wasn't intending to rub salt into the wound old bean.

I think you're s.o.o.l. there...from what I know the last copies went quickly after play managed to get some more stock available.

I have been known to be wrong before though, so keep a sharp eye out.

To be fair, after this whole jujuflop situation, I don't think you're going to get many people willing to answer that question in case something else goes ****** up. The information made available to us currently, however, from BioWare on here and Amazon.co.uk says yes.

But don't hold me to what they are saying....

Because the terms have been made unclear as to what the warfare includes, but don't worry, BioWare have confirmed that N7 Warfare also has Argus in it. It was just available as an individual pre-order bonus as well. So one is being replaced with the other, but the other contains the one.

if you want the boxed version, then yes you are S.O.L, the PC version went very quick, The DDE can be bought from origin store tho.

The cynic in me says that there may well be some people up the chain rubbing their little paws with glee at the thought that in order for the UK to get its due, it will just have to go with Origin now and they will still have an awesome profit on release day. A digital download book has all the charm of a rusty razor blade though.

At this rate I'll just stick with the standard edition and to hell with this utterly ridiculous ******-up-in-a-brewery (as my uncle would have said) dribble of info from EA and retailers changing their minds on an hour-to-hour basis.

You won't hear anything from Amazon until it is dispatched. If it is in "Where is my stuff?", then that is your garuantee of recieving  a copy

Sorry to hear this.

I've only ever ordered from them once before, and I never got my pre-order bonus code & the game arrived 3 days late - so I wasn't expecting to have it on release day, but for them to cancel the whole thing altogether? I definitely wasn't expecting that.

So, I've come to accept it - fate does not want me to own the Collector's Edition of this godamn game.

I've pre-ordered a Standard Edition from Amazon, and Play can expect to never receive any custom or recommendation from me ever again.
