Like others mentioned, I've been wondering about what will happen to the bonus warfare pack now. Personally, I hope they add it to the marketplace as day 1 dlc. Yeah I know, EA wallet rapists, blah, blah, blah, oh the humanity, etc. But it's not like it affects the game to put you in a position where you feel you HAVE to buy it. But for me, I would like the opportunity to have it and wouldn't mind parting with a few MS points for it.

Maybe it'll get passed to one of the other retailers to take instead of the Argus rifle. Hope all the loyal, major fans that got in early still manage to get their N7 Edition. I'd hate to lose my long standing order to some opportunist a freakin week before release!

If Play come through (if their order system doesn't take more orders in than they can provide and they dont cancel it) and it arrives on release day - they can have all my video game orders from now on.

Just as a heads up, i am a retail manager myself and this is spot on. They have a legal obligation to return your money in full. They have no legal right to retain money for a product they effectivley dont have.

Thats me screwed on my CE as it was ordered for me as a birthday present via gamestation

classy move letting us know a week prior to release.

Nearly took a job with them last year, glad i didnt now. They certainly wont be seeing a penny of mine in the future.

Anyone know if theres truth in the rumours i have been hearing that as a company they are failing epicly at present?

Shopto are great! Most of my orders have arrived the next day if ordered before 5pm. Worth checking them out!

Excellent in my experience. Cheap, and delivery is very efficient. They even offer a rebate if the game isn't there by launch day.

A mate of mine was paying for his CE with in store credit but since GAME has screwed everyone over he had no way of obtaining his copy. I've pre-ordered one for him (as well as mine) as I can only imagine how frustrating that would of been for him. Never bothering with GAME ever again, it's shopto all the way now.

I cancelled my pre-order with Game yesterday... So I guess I miss out on the £5 online voucher.

I will be spending my reward points as soon as possible - Game.co.uk is a sinking ship.

I have preordered from Zavvi, but if you put N7 warfare gear only at gamestop and amazon, I won't be able to get it as those shops do not ship to my country.
I've also lost many reward points from Game.UK which I've saved just to get my N7, so I have to pay full price on Zavvi now.

Also this. Give Zavvi the bonus DLC or give them to everyone who have had their preorder cancelled by GAME. That is the least you can do.<_<

Cant be said enough times that in the main all we will probably suffer is inconvenience. People will be seriously stressing abou their jobs just now, so remember it's literally just a game.

Also, this is rubbish but if we all run about placing pre orders with multiple retailers we will just make life harder for other fans. If possible lets let the dust settle and let ea/bioware make an announcement on the n7 stuff. Keep calm and act in a way that makes gamers look like a collection of sensible level headed types rather than the rabble of mad people we are often portrayed as.

I just reordered with Play but saw Zavvi have it £5 cheaper so I've changed to them (3rd order now!). I've never used Zavvi before, but it seems like it has a good rep so fingers crossed.

I hope EA learn their lesson from this. Online exclusivity with CE's and DLC is a no-no.

struggling to work out who to trust more play.com or Zavvi.com on fulfilling the order. (i have an order on both but only want one order do not want to be billed for two mass effect 3's.

It may not be GAME's fault.
But, it really is a big problem for us gamers. BIG one. I haven't been so thrilled and eager about a game since my childhood. And now this.

I'm gonna allow my nephew to use the points if he wants them, then I'll cut up my GAME card, I stuck with GAME all through AC pre-orders then they drop this on me a week from the release, I knwo I am suppose to be polite to GAME but they screwed me over and put me in the worst mood ever, so screw them, I will take my money somewhere else!!

yesh it does suck to loose a order this close to release, i was thinking of branching out my store to like 3 places that do not have gamestop or a wall mart that's like not 45 miles away from other cities my business has been okay and steady but even in this economy there are things that can happen see the game problem, with debtors they run the risk of trying to come up ahead with overhead cost cutting{ i.e} rent,utilities pay the employees business taxes and what not etc.. if game been having problems meeting there commitments then you can see that the issue be came lot more then they could have forecast.

Yeah theres a lot of risk and the climate is still really uncertain at the moment.  Wish you the best though

Just seen this and I am fuming! Was only in yesterday and they were all talking about the release, posters were everywhere. Also they are still selling ME3 on their website.

Indeed, they are being really slow at sorting it.  They put a message on the homepage now, but its still surrounded by ME3 adverts which is crazy.

But its a start at least

They have literally just took the game off the website. And all their phonelines are down atm. They have left an automated message prompting people to visit the website.

Actually according to the guy I talked to in my local Game shop, it is EA's fault that Game won't be stocking Mass Effect 3. Apparently EA was the only company that Game talked to about resorting out a contract that refused, the rest agreed and helped Game out but as EA refused it wouldn't be fair to expect all these other companies to help Game out while EA didn't so Game is not stocking any EA game after SSX for March (at least that's the current timetable).
