Worrying news for UK CE pre-orders (Game group not stocking ME3 - Order elsewhere immediately! )

The code for the Warfare pack includes the M55 Argus and unlocks the N7 Valkyrie (Assault Rifle), N7 Defender Armor at the same time. This has been stated by BioWare, it's also been in the advertising for the Warfare pack.

Some people at play.com are having their pre-orders cancelled. Do someone a favour and cancel yours if you don't need it.

Seriously thats silly, watch the videos of the N7 Warfare Gear being added to ME3, like this one:



Amazon were offering a lesser thing, just the Argus. Now that theyre offering the N7 Warfare Gear they are in fact giving the Argus and more. They just arent game savvy enough to realise that not offering the Argus as a single DLC item and replacing it with the N7 Warfare Gear single DLC item is still giving us the Argus. In other words, Amazon just dont know what the N7 Warfare Gear includes. Bioware do.

Obviously at one point Amazon would have mailed out codes that only entitled you to the Argus. Those will be replaced with a code that gives you everything in the N7 Warfare Gear, they have no way to edit that code so that the Argus vanishes from the set if the Argus is part of it, as confirmed here by Bioware.

well i ordered back in July and im a massive fan of the mass effect franchise i had an email from game on tuesday confirming everything was in place because i had a query about the order so i thought evrything was gr8 but i came home today to find out they canceled it and now every other website is sold out and bioware arent making anymore so i have to be the one to miss out because i didnt check my email for one day sickening i just cant bring myself to order the standard edition not after expecting what i was going to get goes to show none of these big companys actualy cares about its customers

Launch day? Having pre-ordered with Play I'm sitting here trying to resist the urge to check if my order has been cancelled every 5 minutes. :P

And the only reason I'm even managing to do that is because I have a dual-monitor setup and my email open on the other monitor (while currently playing ME2).

please don't be an idiot

Bioware have explicitly stated that the warfare pack contains the Argus - so when you input your redemption code they will all be downloaded at the same time - you won't get two codes. Amazon won't be able to confirm this will they? All amazon will be able to confirm is that they are not sending you two codes - you don't need two codes.

Do the decent thing and try and shift one of your preorders directly onto one of the forum members in desperate need of a copy.


Kindly don't call me an idiot - I'm merely trying to make certain that I re-gain what I'd be assured would be mine for the past 7 months - Clearly, retailers are in a mess about the whole situation and aren't really sure about what they have and haven't got right now, and being cautious is something we all should have learnt from this whole situation - Excuse me, but I'm working with what information I myself currently obtained at the time of posting <_<

And I'd also like to point out that I do intend to "do the decent thing" as you say - I could make an absolute mint out of managing to get hold of two pre-orders by selling one at a later for date for a massive profit, but I don't particularly feel comfortable with doing so because I can sympathise with those who do not currently have a copy, and know how I would feel in their situation. There are plenty of people out there who managed to get hold of 10+ copies and are now selling them on and are most definitely far more than quids in.

I contacted play.com regarding pre-order dilivery and this is the responce i got:

Thank you for your email. 

We do endeavour to dispatch pre-orders so that they are received on the date of release, however we cannot avoid occasional delays being passed on from our suppliers. It is also very possible that we will receive stock early, in which case orders may be received by you ahead of the scheduled release date. 

Please be assured that you will not be charged for the item until such time as it is ready to be shipped. We hope that this information answers your query, but please do not hesitate to contact us via the helpdesk section on our website if you have any further questions:

I just got a note from them about an hour ago saying that they will be starting to process the pre-order's tonight so if I want to change anything about my order then now is the last chance. That was all it said really. The money has been taken from my account too so hopefully that means everything is fine. :bandit:

It should.

My friend buys 360 games from the UK and he plays them in Germany. They all work perfectly fine.
