My friend buys 360 games from the UK and he plays them in Germany. They all work perfectly fine.

cool yh i may end up getting it from amazon france then i was a bit concerned about all of 
collecter edition stuff coming in french does it matter were in the world you redeem dlc codes so if i bought it from france i could type the code redeem the code in england and it will work?

I had a XBOX360 CE pre-ordered frrom Amazon.fr & asked the same questions, apparently the game will run fine on a UK XBOX. Chris Priestly confirmed that all copies can be toggled to English voice acting & subtitles. I assume the codes will work just fine, the only problem will be that the artbook & comic will be in French. If you're fine with that, go ahead & order.

Same goes for PS3 & PC.

Actually, they didn't even do me the courtesy of an email. Just went to check my account and there it was, cancelled.

Okay, I just called my friend. 

He said he never had trouble redeeming codes, they all worked.

So yeah, all of it should be fine.

Did you contact them? did you ask tem why they cancelled it? they should give you a reason...

ouch. i did the smartest thing i could think of however. ordered in a HMV store, 7 minute walk from where i live!

There was an announcement on the Amazon forums not long ago about a a person who inquired about HMV CE stock. It basically said:

"The
N7 edition will be sold by us but, we still don't know how meny copies
we are allowed to sell. Due to this reason we will not offer more N7
edition's untill we have confirmation from EA. We decided we had no
choice but to remove any remaining stock this morning untill further
confirmation from EA."

In other words HMV probably haven't sold out, yet some of the orders already placed may be for stock that doesn't exist. Best advice is to just keep checking their website this weekend.

Well, using the credit I did buy the SE on PS3 with shirt and N7 warefare pack. Going to get that at some point, with bonuses in the region of £15 to £20 as well sounds like a deal. My priority is that I get the CE from Play or that can obtain one next week if not. Not cancelled yet but I wont feel at ease until I see email saying taken payment or dispatched.

Basically, I tried to order from them to get the CE, but I got to the paying page and it had a hissy-fit right before it asked for my security password-ma-bob, does this mean that I actually have an order for the collector's edition from them? I currently have another pre-order with HMV, but I've been hoping to move away from that to get my pre-order DLC.

Also, does anyone know whether you can cancel your order with HMV after you've been charged with no downsides?

It looks like even though it threw a hissy fit that you still got into the pre-order "queue". Have you done the verification (whatever it asks you to do)?

Edit* - Yes, distance selling regulations give you 7 days to withdraw from the sale.

I ordered my collectors edition (360 version) from Sainsbury's a couple of days ago. I was worried that it wouldn't include the pre-order bonus stuff. I ordered it anyway - I'm lucky to get a copy at all, right? I checked the product this morning and while it is still sold out they now have 'Also available as part of [LIMITED Mass Effect 3 Pre-Order N7 Warfare Gear Pack codes available]' I'm not really sure if that means I will get the codes or not but I'm going to call them to clarify that. I'll post if I get any info.

Yeah, EA have confirmed that sainsbury's get pre-order DLC as well now. The only major places I know of who aren't getting the N7 Warfare Pack are HMV and Gamestop.

Emailed them yesterday, haven't received a reply yet. Didn't secure it elsewhere, no - ordered a Standard Edition with T-Shirt & DLC from ShopTo, at least that way I can definitely play the game on release day.
