for anybody using Amazon: had emailed them earlier about when they take payment etc and they mentioned the item had entered the dispatch process so i assume it'd be the same for most orders.

No - though i wish i had! I assume it'll be tuesday or wednesday (fingers crossed). paid for 1st class delivery and have an estimated delivery date of 9th March so it should arrive on time.

Does anyone know if you get the N7 Warfare gear if you pre-ordered with Blockbuster in-store? After my pre-order with Game was cancelled, I pre-ordered in-store there because the N7 edition wasn't available online anywhere by the time I find out Game had cancelled my order. The guy in Blockbuster was able to put it through on his system but couldn't completely guarantee I'd get a copy. Then the next day the N7 editions became available on HMV's website, so I pre-ordered there too. Unfortunately no one seems to know if HMV are getting any pre-order stuff. I should just be thankful I managed to re-order an N7 edition, but I really want the N7 warfare pack!

I wouldn't get your hopes up getting it too early even if you're seeing 'dispatching soon'. ShopTo has a note on their order page stating that due to huge numbers of pre-orders they're starting to package up the orders, but all retailers have an agreement not to actually pop-them in the post until Wednesday.

That's pretty standard to be fair though I imagine if your local post office is up to scratch a lot of people will be seeing the game on Thursday.

I ordered the SE from them because if you use this code at the checkout GPO52402 you get an additional £5 off.  My SE cost £34.97, they took the payment straight away, supposed to arrive for release day but it says you need to order it 5 days before for release day delivery so it could be hit or miss now.

The really odd thing is that the advert for the £5 off popped up on the Amazon website, seriously it's on this page under the sponsored links section.

I do also have a CE on order from Amazon, the SE is for the BF and also acts as a backup for me, not like I'm expecting (another) disaster or anything

But doesn't every developing company do the same for their titles? Only allowing retailers to ship and distribuite on certain dates, but yet most copies end up getting sent early anyway despite the arrangements?

Blockbuster get the pack, HMV don't though.

Apparently, HMV will be recieving some collector's editions, but they have no idea how many they're being given to sell. So apparently they're waiting on how many they're being given from EA. They may have too many orders for the amount they'll be recieving, which means that it's apparently going to be a "first come, first serve" routine.

At least, that is what has been said by a HMV employee.

I've paid for my Collector's Edition order with Shopto, but it hasn't been processed yet. I know they've had a lot of orders and it will take time...but I'm starting to get paranoid

Is my order guaranteed? Am I just worrying about nothing?

edit: Damn you, spam filter! I just found my confirmation email buried between 'personal injury solicitors' and 'dream bingo.' Less worried now.

lol You could have just checked your account. If it's showing under My Orders > Orders rather than My Orders > Pre Orders then you're good.
